Netflucks be gone. First Susan Rice now them. I can just imagine what trash they will come up with. They better hurry before their reality show is filmed at Gitmo.

No one will force you to participate in the Netflix version of the Obama Parade. And you'll miss such British treats as Miss Fisher's murder mysteries.Which more than offsets the creepy Obama mishagoss.

I agree. I won't watch any Obama trash. But I love the British programs that I can get from Netflix. Miss Fisher being one of them, And then there is Brokenwood, the Murdoch Mysteries, and movies that I missed in the theaters..

Here's a Netflixer back atcha: Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. The BW and I have fallen in love with Essie Davis who plays Miss Fisher and a cast of Australian actors who are A1 quality. Set in the 20's, with authentic (brilliantly done) costuming, and cars of the era it is a treat on many levels.

I agree on Miss Fisher, Herb. Essie also had a short but meaty role on Game of Thrones in 2016 (iirc.)
The Aussies and Kiwis are doing some excellent programs. If you like Miss Fisher you should also enjoy Brokenwood Mysteries from NZ. It is the best mystery series I have seen in years.
The Aussies also did a very good gritty historical crime drama mini-series Underbelly starting in the same era as Miss Fisher with the same detail on authenticity (but does include brutal depiction of crime.)
If you enjoy a more modern drama with some odd, quirky, complex characters, take a look at the original Australia tv series Rake (copied very poorly in the USA series.)
For a look at how Australians deal with illegal immigration and other offshore crime, have a look at the Sea Patrol tv series.
They are available on Acorn tv if you want to avoid netflix. (You may also be able to stream some of them from the Australian/NZ sources if you have a vpn with servers there.)

When listing the attributes, I forgot to include the music. Good stuff from the 20's.

I completely forgot to recommend Murdoch Mysteries (Canada) 11 seasons ongoing. Definitely recommend starting with the first season first episode. There are ongoing story arcs that you'd miss otherwise. Murdoch is an inventor who uses the scientific method to solve crimes as a police detective in Toronto at the turn of the 19-20th century. The writing is very good and characters consistently praise personal responsibility and productivity.
A quote from Detective Murdoch in Season11 Episode 6, "The satisfaction of a job well done is one of life's greatest pleasures."

I really should be clearer about Miss Fisher. It's not the murder mystery that I enjoy so much. It is the character as portrayed by Essie Davis. Her expression, posture and attitude is the perfect rich female rebel of the 20's.Everything in the show is done to perfection. The 20's clothes worn by the characters fits their personalities. They are being directed so that every gesture is thought out and adds to the character. The fact that she has a murder to solve every day or so in a small suburban town is where you throw away belief and go with the fun. Solving the "mystery" is no big deal If you can't do it in the first 5 minutes, you're probably not paying attention.I'd like to visit Australia, but 6 hours from San Diego is beyond my capability even if I could afford first class.

Just throw a bit of shrimp on the Barbie .Sorry
I'd couldn't resist. My parents went to Australia and New Zealand they absolutely loved New Zealand, Australia not so much.

You should have your own experience there. I loved both, and I lived in each for more than 18 months. Australia is the size of the lower 48 states with only a population of about 22 million. Going for a couple of weeks and not liking the country would be like coming to America and disliking it when you spent the entire time in NY, Boston and DC. My first visit in NZ was a waste of time due to bad weather that the inefficient tourist business could not make up for. I left after 3 days, but returned years later to give it a 2nd chance.
I will go back again when I have the opportunity.
Herb, its more like 12-14 hours flight depending on routing from LAX, and I don't know of any other practical choice for travel to Oz or NZ yet. Maybe Virgin or Musk LEO Travel will offer a shorter elapsed time in the future;^)

Boycott Obama's documentaries, not Netflix. Why deny yourself the pleasure of all else? But if you can get the equivalent entertainment elsewhere, then by all means....

The NRA should go to Netflix with a proposal to produce content for their membership.
Netflix is in the entertainment business. They probably think that their content is so vital to people that they will keep subscribing and paying to be overtly brainwashed (in addition to being covertly brainwashed.)
I hope 20 million subscribers follow your lead. If I was a subscriber, I would;^)

Don't know, Netflix would be no different than say ABC, CBS or NBC...you might watch only the shows that you like and approve of, ie, last man standing, Rosanne, American idol, America's got talent or at least your local news and weather.

At least with Netflix, you could give obobo's show a massive down vote and call it a day, Giving your favorite shows top billing.

Time for a strong competitor to Netflix,
To come forward. Watching anything about Hussien Soetoro is not entertainment ,,well watching him in GITMO would be a pop some corn event.

This is a helluva thing to revelation read. Me dino loves the Netflix selections. It's HUGE, including foreign films not to be found anywhere else.
Me dino don't too pricey stream. I average two DVDs mailed to me a week usually watched during the weekend. Sometimes Netflix will toss in a third flick on my lengthy queue.
Of course, everyone in The Gulch should already know me dino would not watch any Obama related puke.

Absolutely, no Obama puke. My husband and I watch more Netflix movies during the winter than we do in the summer. I add to our queue periodically. Just added the Dr.Blake series.

After an F5 tornado that missed my home by a quarter of a mile with miraculously no damage during April, 2011, my power was back on in three days but my cable (no TV and no PC) was out for a whole month.
What was really nice was that I had a stacked Netflix queue that snail mail kept on giving. I was watching DVDs and sending them back as fast as I could.

I had NETFLIX last year. I signed up with the idea to select any films I wanted to watch. Then I realized they did not carry the most basic classics, or if they did I had to pay for it. No thanks.

Obama's presence there makes it even more of a deterrent. I was happy to see him gone and have no intentions of seeing him again, ever in my life.

NETFLIX management is as much to the left as they come. They are financing propaganda programs, the gospel spread by the left.

I cancelled my subscription, thank you.

I wouldnt watch anything that Obama had anything to do with- EVER. Thats not going to stop the leftists from peddling their crap however. I do watch some documentaries on netflix.

It bothers me that even if I dont watch Obama's crap, Netflix gets the same subscription money from me anyway. That does bother me. I suppose I could email them indicating I was considering cancellation, but given half the people in the country are leftists, I doubt that will have any effect at all. There are alternatives to Netflix, and most of them are the pirated variety unfortunately.

They dont care what I think, or they wouldnt have stuffed Obama down my throat.

They only respond to a reduction in profit or liberal shaming (given they ARE liberal, they are unlikely to get shamed). Either I cancel or I dont, those are my options.
