Sacramento is using drones to "monitor high crime-rate subdivisions". Uh, what part of illegal search and seizure do you idiots not understand?

In setting up a security patrol in my neighborhood years ago I remember one legal facet that you cannot aim a camera at the front of somebody's property or into their windows, backyard, etc. Seems pretty common sense to me. But, I remember things from the past like "probably cause", "search warrants", hippa, etc. All that stuff is out the window now.

I know right where this is happening in this news story. Nice neighborhood ravaged by a long history of very violent crimes, car burgs, etc. This is all very typical Sacramento...

The Constitution doesn’t say the government can’t use drones, so I’m sure the Founding Fathers would approve.
