I'm not surprised by the announcement, but the quick action was a bit unexpected. The Mormons comprise nearly 60% of the participants in Boy Scouts and a huge proportion of their leaders and donor base. I expect the Baptists to quickly follow suit. Within two years (as I predicted), the BSA will be a non-entity - much to the detriment of young men and societies in the United States.
