When some people are offended by comedy that lampoons some cultural problems, blame the comedian.

When I was a kid my folks would watch MASH. I'd lay there and watch too. Everybody, including the canned laughter, would laugh at Klinger. Now, there's a guy who works near my office who wears a dress. He even has the 5-o-clock shadow at the end of each day. I dare not laugh. I don't make eye contact. I just walk by like a zombie. 8^\

If Hollywood loved Jews that much, then why does Mel Gibson still have a job after his drunken tirade against them?

I think its a damn shame that our liberal society reacts so wussly (is that a word?) to even faintly perceived references to ethnicity, gender and the whole LGBT thing in general as being hateful, unfeeling and the utterer of such comment is somehow a terrible person. i've even been accused of using "PC" as a perjority,,,which it damn well is! The humor of ethnic minorities coping with our society is the spice in the otherwise bland pablum we'd be left with. How is that folks like Mel Brooks, Norman Leer and Matt Groening have produced such successful and long running shows? Why do i feel like puking in response to "Leave it to Beaver" or "The Brady Bunch"?

So my advice to those vocal self-appointed represented kvechers telling other members of their respective minorities how they should think and respond to percieved slights is to crank in their antennas, turn up the squelch and SHUT THE FUCK UP! and just enjoy being an American!

    What bunch of horse pucky.
For 100 years there were comical portrayals of Jews. Focusing on habits and phrases. There was the comedy team of Gallagher and Sheen. Two men speaking in accented English who were hilarious. Then there was Molly Goldberg who made us laugh on both radio and TV. Did you hear any complaints? The Jews laughed along with them, and why not? Funny is fun. Regardless of any attached ethnicity. People from India; as long as it remains humor without slipping into racism, intentional racism, that is, laugh along with them.Come now, you know the difference.

A little Political Correctness history, thanks to the Harry S. Truman Museum.
    (1) Tokyo , Japan 0800-September 1,1945

    To: President Harry S Truman
    From: General D A MacArthur
Tomorrow we meet with those yellow-bellied bastards and sign the Surrender Documents, any last minute instructions?

    (2) Washington , D C 1300-September 1, 1945

    To: D A MacArthur
    From: H S Truman
Congratulations, job well done, but you must tone down your obvious dislike of the Japanese when discussing the terms of the surrender with the press, because some of your remarks are fundamentally not politically correct
    (3) Tokyo , Japan 1630-September 1, 1945

    To: H S Truman
    From: D A MacArthur and C H Nimitz
Wilco Sir, but both Chester and I are somewhat confused, exactly what does the term politically correct mean?
    (4) Washington , D C 2120-September 1, 1945

    To: D A MacArthur/C H Nimitz
    From: H S Truman
Political Correctness is a doctrine, recently fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and promoted by a sick mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of shit by the clean end!
Now, with special thanks to the Truman Museum and Harry himself, you and I finally have a full understanding of what 'POLITICAL CORRECTNESS' really means…..

We are entering a new, dark era. I've been saying this for a decade now. I call it our new dark age. This is just one hint of it. There have been many. I haven't watched the Simpsons for a long time, but I always had an appreciation for the show.

“...message now is that comedians need to apologize, even though it’s 25 years later, because things can retroactively be considered offensive.”

New Steven Crowder video talks about this topic,

He will soon find that there are a multitude of voice actors who can do that accent easily. Replacing him with an Indian voice actor should be very easy to do and quiet some of the controversy, too.
Another spoiled rotten meddling actor who has earned a decade of unemployment. He has been profiting for years on the comedy written for him. Give all the money back, you hypocrite.
Guess he thinks he got the job because of talent and his being a Jew wasn't considered at all when he was hired. Hah!

The Apu character has always been politically incorrect but has been targeted in these last few weeks by the left using a multitude of media outlets. Now, the character may be seen as too politically incorrect, and the actor who has always done the voice of Apu may choose to stop.
