12 minute video clip: Universities and leftist training camps

David Horowitz may be sometimes seem to be a bit extreme in this video clip from late 2017, but when talking about how the leftists (cultural marxists) have essentially taken over the universities, maybe he is not extreme enough.

We Gulchers for the most part have been aware of leftism as a religion for quite some tome. The best example is the Church of Climate Change. Those of you who are new to this concept, just think about it for a while, and you'll see how accurately Horowitz puts his finger directly on the fallacy.

It would be useful for Gulchers to read Eric Hoffer's great little book, "The True Believer, a Study of Mass Movements." While a little dated, it describes beautifully those likely to be attracted to ideologies like Communism, Nazism, Fascism, etc. , what drives them, and how the proponents of those belief systems attract and control them.

I hope these incidents of mobs threatening speakers on campus are exceptions or the new rule, but I find it alarming.

I still go on campus often for events, but it's always to the engineering building. He specifically says what he's saying only applies to the humanities.

I see the left/right thing as hardly being real. There are leftwing and rightwing commentators (they call each other cultural marxists an alt-right) who say radical things to get attention. Then you can go and say which of these nutjobs are more represented in some job. Generally neither one is represented in jobs that involve getting things done rather than getting attention. Reality is slightly closer to the leftwing nut, so you find leftwing bias in all levels of society. It could look like a conspiracy, but it's really that reality is slightly closer to the leftwing nut, but not by much.

So I think there's nothing to that. Mobs preventing people from speaking for any reason, though, is horrible. I hope those cases are exceptions.
