Just follow Israel's example. Take the land you've already got, work your asses off, cultivating, watering, as needed. Where there are farms growing sellable products, others will follow in order to supply the workers with food, clothing, shelter. It only requires blood, sweat , and tears and a willingness to put up everything, from whatever wealth, energy and ambition you possess. Within a few years you will be competing with Israel for local markets. But it is based upon a willingness to work hard and strive for the future. What do you need to put up? Simple, just everything. But, in the past, Palestinians have not been willing to work that hard. Even when given the land it is allowed to go fallow. The hard physical labor required to become a success in the Negev, requires a willingness to sacrifice today, for a future tomorrow, creating wealth for your children and their children. To date, Palestinians (so-called) have not been willing to do this, nor are there any people wanting to do it for them..

My post was not to defend the Palistinians. The
Declaration of Israels right to exist by the Saudis would rationally be a no brainier but sadly has not been.
The humans who were in the grips of Arafat and the weapons peddlers , the shady alphabet manipulators whose only goal is generate a value for human sacrifice ($ to martyrs) US provided our cash with no value in return. Those humans stuck in a dictatorship under Arafat had no freedom or right to any fruits for their labor. I listened to a Palistinians woman who said the PLO and Hamas would find large Palestinian families homes with lots of kids and launch their mortars and rockets into Israel hopeing for a deadly retaliatory explosive response. I can't hardly imagine areality like that. If deadly the publicity and sympathy from the corrupt leftist media was valuable to a fraudulent Slave master. The news would focus on the mourning families and ignore the aggression instigating it in the first place. Lack of reason.
A human can't thrive In that environment.

In Israel freedom and values that support individuals ...do What ? It creates a blue print for success and a progression to value for value
Folks eager to forge a life with freedom to increase their value. Allowed to Produce Results. Rewards that will allow for happiness, create competition
Expand possibilities thru innovation. This model is an obvious solution to the drek holes that people are trying to flee from around the globe. Their only hope is to go after the looting leach socialist scum who abhor Israel's example.
I believe it is the System of valuing the individual not the genealogy of the person that leads to success . Certainly a groups traits that result in positive successes who have traditionally valued effort and responsiblity can and should be mimicked .

I didn't mean to infer that you were defending the so-called Palestinians. I'm just weary of the "poor occupied People" B.S. Time after time from the very outset of the country in 1948 they had opportunity after opportunity to become part of Israel and prosper and they refused. So what will happen if they get what they want? Will it be turned into productive farmland causing the dessert to bloom? No, it will become military outposts with gun barrels down the throats of Israel. If given whatever they ask for, will never satisfy them until there is no Israel, whereupon they'll turn their attention to.....?
There is only one solution. One side or the other needs to outlast its opponent.

A lifetime of hate and contempt almost 70 years since the first war that has never abated reminds me of the definition of insanity.

The war was by any standard the closest I ever saw to a miracle. Outnumbered, outflanked, inferior weapons, and not by small numbers. The Arab forces had 4X the military in everything. And yet, the Israelis won.My Mom's BFF's brother, was in the IDF. While fighting in the Sinai, they ran out of ammunition. They knew it was the end, so they decided to go out like heroes. Holding their weapons as if they were shooting They ran at the enemy screaming like demented demons.. Apparently they looked so awesome that the enemy threw down their weapons and surrendered. It may not be true, but then, He was there. I was 11 when I was told the tale.

Terrorist elements and an aggressive Iran may force a military alliance, with Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan the primary members. The growing ties between Russia, Iran, and Syria require a balance of power in the region. The U.S. should remain primarily a provider of military equipment and training to help provide the balance.

Turkey is playing a dangerous game, bordering on treason against its fellow NATO members, and may find itself evicted from that organization. What will happen to the U.S. bases in that country is another story.

Turkey has been really playing both sides. They like being part of NATO for the money it brings in, but they don't like it because NATO forces them to recognize and play nice with the Kurds with whom they have a lasting animosity.

The only peace the Palestinians want is a piece of their promised 72 white raisins...

They were nothing more than highway robbers and thugs in that area of the world back in the day.. and later on, they were the muslim African Slave Hunters that sold the slaves to the Danish Sailors. Never had a city state of their own...too stupid I guess...they are still stupid so what gives them the right to one now?

Wasn't Palestine a country? The bigger news is Saudi's recognizing Isreal right to its country.

No, but the Palestinians don't like hearing that. The only times that area has been referred to using "Palestine" in any legitimate sense was back in the early 19th Century under British rule when it was part of the greater Trans-Jordan nation and there it referred specifically to the Jewish enclaves - not the Arab ones - who lived there.

There are no such thing as Arab "Palestinians" with any legitimacy older than about 10 years. There were Jordanians, Syrians, Lebanese, Egyptians, and others - all real nationalities. But the Palestinian territories weren't officially recognized until very recently. What's funny is that they still aren't recognized by some Muslim nations who insist on using them as anti-Semitic basis for their continued persecution, bombings, and rocket attacks on Israel.

The only reason there are "Palestinians" around at all (that is, the reason the neighboring countries Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt haven't long since let the refugees from the 1973 and earlier wars and their descendants assimilate) is that the jihadists want to use them as political pawns, by pretending that we and Israel are the authors of their suffering.

The truth is, the only reason there were ever any Muslims in Judaea is that they've been trying to ethnically cleanse Jews from Arabia ever since the 7th Century. There really aren't any legitimate claims by so-called Palestinians.

And Hamas and Hezbollah, in particular, say right in their charters that they want to exterminate all Jews. That makes them completely comparable to Nazis.
