At least these ones actually seemed able to read and make a rational decision based on consideration of facts, not respond to an emotional appeal by manipulators, which is why they got no news coverage or support.

CG, the point is more to that these kids believe in the rights of people under the constitution to have guns, and the other kids were trolled and manipulated,a dn funded to try to take those rights away. Yet they had no good arguments or logic, they just gave the emotional, primal scream and was nationally championed and funded.

Yes. These students should get coverage. They're not just doing this be gadflies. They thought the demonstration was in support of the victims, but people saw it as an anti-gun rights demonstration. To the extent that the students protested against gun-rights on their own initiative against the wishes of the authorities, I applaud them for speaking their mind. I applaud even more these students speaking the unpopular position that restricting gun rights is not the answer. It's not just because I personally agree with gun rights. I like seeing young people fight the power, standing up hardcore to my generation. I'd like to see them protest in Madison against free trade and for President Trump, who I find loathsome. The parents' generation (oh goodness, that's we Gen-X "slackers") are right about most things, but kids' crazy ideas are what move humankind forward.
