Ten minute video: “Ban science because I find it too difficult”
A well critiqued video of a leftist bent group “discussion.”
Featuring:
Creating a new race based science
Black magic
Space, safe from reality.
Truth and option bad
“Micro aggression”, requiring an apology
Censored debate
Respect as a right
Decolonizing western science.
Enjoy!

I'd like to be able to take away the technologies these people don't believe in, and send them all to California. Other states that have overcrowding in their prisons should release prisoners and ban them to California. If we concentrate all the crime and ignorance in California where they say they want it, we could maybe build a wall around it to contain it.
I like the wall idea. It makes a safe space, for the rest of us.
And do not send them the free humanitarian aid they will be begging for.
Give idiots the chance to remove themselves from the gene pool and do not save them from their own stupidity. Do Not trade technological goods with them.
This is a case for an application of the prime directive. Sorry, you do not have the intelligence to be trusted with a tractor or a motor vehicle. Enjoy the dark ages. (pun intended)
I am suggesting a similar policy to the current one with Venezuela. If you discard or threaten my way of life you get none of the advantages my culture created.
BTW, I understand that Australia is creating a special humanitarian immigration policy for whites leaving South Africa.
Failure rewarded, success punished.
I’d be curious to see their black magic lighting bolts she talks about? I’ll bet it is something explainable by science and not real black magic.
Sounds familiar.
Johnny Weissmuller's Tarzan used to say that.
Oops, all Tarzan actors are white save for this 'un and he ain't African~https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baNqK...
That means to say, "Ungawa bwana" is snowflake science racist and
any white speaker of "ungawa bwana" may be struck by the black magic lightning he/she/trans creates.
Never mind.
It looks like we are still centuries away from cross-fertilization of information and social organization. Cultures and belief systems, just like bodies, have immune systems, rejection reactions to outsider impact. No one likes to feel inferior, so better toss out anything that's new or hard to learn rather than be seen as substandard.
From my perch as a Martian anthropologist observing the human species, I can see where science-reality-objective truth are a threat to all the populations still steeped in religious fantasies. And the factionalizing of the species into separate cultural pockets also breeds predatory tendencies that justify mutual hostilities. What a perverse way to develop scientific knowledge--through constructing weapons of war.
Perhaps what is needed is a Dr. Seuss approach to make science and higher learning palatable by introducing it at a child's level of understanding. Our most advanced scholars, just like the front edge of computer technology, unfortunately advance beyond the range of the general population and forget how to discourse on a mutual level.
We need science story tellers and ambassadors of education at the simplest levels to send to that classroom in South Africa to make it interesting and fun for those folks to learn. Maybe even couch it in terms of magic. After all, as Arthur C. Clarke said, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." We can't afford to wait centuries more for cultural evolution of the "developing" (stubbornly backward) countries to catch up. We need to talk to them at their level of comprehension. Not all of them are as advanced as Neil deGrasse Tyson.
The trick is how to sell them on opening their minds a smidgen without losing their pride in their own heritage. How to apply how we teach children to old cultures without having them take offense. How to bring them to understand that the very things that make their lives possible and comfortable--food, transport, medicine, electricity--are part of the values they can gain from cross-cultural symbiosis, techniques that can make them self-sufficient and independent, not having to demand and depend on charity and subsidies.
The planet does change, and its occupants need to keep adapting, inventing and learning new ways to cope. Pooling all our talents through peaceful collaboration will benefit all without one group feeling stripped of its historical identity and becoming absorbed by the larger world that would again be seen as a conqueror.
The smallest minority is the individual. How can we get that concept into tribal thinking?
Poststructuralism "'rejects objectivity and the notions of an absolute truth and single reality,” and “knowledge is complicated, contradictory, and contingent to a certain social context and historical context”
I can easily imagine her leading a similar discussion.

Oops! Too late.
history tells us that humanity settled on the african continent first and then humans spread to all of the rest of the world. those who left were obviously that smart ones.
To see Mandela's hard won end to apartheid come to such a discouraging end is sad, but not unexpected. The grievances built up from decades of subjection have boiled over into an explosion of racism bordering on a mental disorder. It's one thing to demand some form of balance and fairness, including a correction in the direction of race based favoritism, but to insist on throwing out everything that could possibly be connected to white history is insane.
I would like to insist that any American aid going to South Africa be suspended until this rush to insanity is over. People planning business ventures in that country should think very carefully about the likelihood of a rush to nationalization of any successful enterprise. That pattern of theft, abuse, and destruction of business ventures is a predictable pattern in these circumstances.
Science is science. Not white science, not male science, not German science. Just science.
This reminds me. Just the other day in the office a lady who sits by me (have worked together for years) complained to me about some other male coworker/manager who spoke mean to her in the past. I knew nothing about it. Never noticed it. Expressed that it was unfortunate. She said, "Oh you heard it. I documented it. You didn't say anything. But, it's ok because I forgive you." I wish I had a photo of my face when she said that. It'd probably have a pretty funny look on it. So...now I'm supposed to apologize for things I know nothing about.
What in the hell is happening to the American mind? Anybody?...
But for pete sake...don't blame the western world, (and no, the western world is not all white), for being the first humans to achieve the conscious mind and advance the well being of all of human kind.
