I would only say that if they were so advanced and such a proven threat (which no one seems to know) the usual government response is to keep it secret "to prevent panic" while they seek to copy it "for our protection" using black funds scammed for the same ignorant masses. I would prefer someone showing me the threat before forcing me to pay for it.

Fast Bird, unless they were going the opposite way, then relative motion kicks in. May be the reason they are releasing it, to muddy the water. If caught, then they would look like total morons.

You never know, but they say there was a chain of custody from start to finish so unless the government is faking, that seems remote.
