      Actually some of the French have been making decent products for some time. They just don't bother bringing them to the US very often (except for aircraft) because the market here is overwhelmingly for lower quality chinese goods. I can't intelligently comment on the cameras in question though.

    Mostly spectrometers to measure surface composition. This, especially the Raman spectroscopy, is right up my alley.

    The process flowsheet for the Mars Oxygen ISRU Experiment (MOXIE) was developed by the guy in the office next to mine. This is what johnrobert2 and I were discussing a couple of days ago.
