You are being programmed: Five ways your thoughts are being driven against your own self-interest

Some of us have strong connections to our objective minds but still that connection is vulnerable if one is not aware of the many methods used to separate us from it...even for a moment.

So you can imagine how difficult it is for those that do not have a solid connection or worse yet...don't even know that connection is available to them; Like the young especially, even under normal circumstances, they have a tough enough time of it, along with those that are stubborn, nieve, mis-educated, socially distracted, mentally ill, have a physiological abnormality, (like graves disease) or, the worst of all possibilities, have a genetic predisposition that forebodes the left and right brains from cooperating, (bicameralism).

Mankind's achievement of the Mind came about with the aid of language, spoken and written and at a time when it was necessary for our own survival. [Julian Jaynes]

We can discuss this back and forth but it is pretty clear to me that what we are seeing in our culture is not of the minds making nor acceptance and certainly not of the nature of man.

These events, committed by some, have always plagued the human species but today it's almost by design.

I dont watch or listen to mainstream media, hollywood, and particularly to politicians any more, And less and less even to FOX. Very little of the "breaking news" really is of use in MY life, so why pay attention to it.

Yes, you can't be programed if you ignore the programer, However, there are times we need to know what's coming down the pike so we can get out of the way in time.

The problem is that 99% of the information out there is just "breaking nonsense". Need some sort of BOT to filter through it and figure out if I need to know whatever it is. Coming hurricane? OK. Chinese troops landing in California? OK. But pretty much anything coming out of washington I could forget about because they prevent defensive actions in the bills they produce.

True. In my book I promote one and all to Stop doing business with them; although, it is difficult to completely ignore them when they have there hands in your pockets or stand in your way causing you to try to figure a go around.

I think that CircuitGuy is correct, but that the kudos go to Abaco, who hit the nail on the head: This article is worthless. It is just a set of spurious, unsubstantiated allegations which attempt to play on one's paranoia.

Its premise may, in spite of that, be accurate. (Just because one individual's arguments are poorly stated and irrational does not mean that his premise is wrong...it just means that he is not good at arguing on a logical basis. There is probably someone else who has stated this case in a rational manner.)

"Its premise may, in spite of that, be accurate. "

Yes, but I would substitute conclusion where you say premise.

In my understanding of logic, premises + reasoning lead to a conclusion. The conclusion is unreliable, in other words "it's an unsound argument," if a premise is wrong or the reasoning contains a fallacy.

It would the "fallacy fallacy" to say we know the conclusion is wrong just because one argument supporting it is unsound.

I am really not sure. In my view, the article stated a premise, then presented a bunch of unsupported claims, then concluded that they had proved their premise.

So do I say that the premise may still be correct or that their conclusion is?

The links are a start but the entire premise, facts and sound observations do not exist in one area...it would take a 4000page book to lay it out.

Dobrien posted a good video to watch.

I call it a premise if it's a fact used in another argument.
Premise: Police officers always obey the law.
Premise: Person A is a police officer.
Conclusion: Person A always obeys the law.
The logic is correct, but the argument is not sound because a premise is incorrect.

Premise: Police officers always obey the law.
Premise: Person B always obeys the law.
Conclusion: Person B must be a police officer.
The reasoning is bad. It's error of the converse: a --> b therefore b --> a. The argument would not be sound even if the premises were true.

Sometimes there are unstated premises that go into valid logic. So the argument appears sound until you dig into it and realize it rests on incorrect premises.

It is during affluent times, most often brought about by free people and capitalistic economies, that mind control, naval gazing and discussions concerning quantities of angels on heads of pins develops. Guilt and empathy for those less fortunate becomes the mantra for social engineering and socialist politics. Capitalism is replaced by Marxism and slavery. Of course, slaves will eventually demand freedom, etc, etc. A hampster wheel with apologies to Friedrich Hayek.

Right on the mark. The government did not have a patent for mind control, using drugs, for nothing. Advertisers used to use subliminal messages to get you to by, until it was banned. School indoctrinate children from an early age, causing cognitive dissonance, group think, values changed by exercises in health class. They are fed the pseudo-green agenda as good, socialism as good, property rights as bad and mean. It is a small step to get them on psychatric drugs and then mess with them online to get what they want, be it gun ban or whatever. In college psych. course, I was one of only two students the prof. could NOT hypnotize, he took it personally. It was so readily accomplished with the rest, I could hardly believe it. Years later in our daughters school, a mother walked in to a 4th grade glass to find a teacher doing group hypnosis. The frourth grade class was getting subliminal CDs played, then whoel grade level Maslow Group Therapy by a mere teacher. And we expect kids to come through all this normal and self directed? One of my majors was philosophy, which makes you think forward and reason whereas psychology makes you look back at what or who harmed you. Not the recipe for strong resistance.MK Ultra has made a whole science of influencing people, and the government people, FBI or CIA, have been a little too close to the shooters in many cases. The Colo. theater shooter had been in a CIA brainwashing experiment the summer before the incident. There is someone out there wanting to contorl your mind, and the Internet and cell phone had made it easier.

      Spot on.
We always wonder who or what pushed the button on those that commit such acts. We can liken the event as a pole shift in the brain but like all pole shifts in the cosmos, it takes an outside influence to get it started.

Absolutely! I have heard so many commentators in the last few days say, "We can't let this happen again", or "This should have stopped with Columbine" - well examine the whole picture, not just guns! A group of parents and grandparents had met regularly when Outcome Based Ed was starting in our school years ago. We had already read about the suicides at the Governor's School in Ark.,, under Clinton. As part of our research, we watched a video, given to us by someone out in Colo., of a local TV discussion of that same system in Columbine, and, they were concerned what it was doing to the kids. After the video, our consensus was that it was going to lead to bad results. About a year later, we were not at all surprised, based on the content of the education system, that violence had occurred there. s Months later boys here threatening to blow up the school and to break teacher's legs. One day, under bobomb threats, our duaghter's middle school had multiple police on duty, when one boy tried to push our daughter down the steps, no officer close. Luckily, she was a brown belt in Tae Kwan Do, and flipped him, sending him sliding down the hall on his back. A police officer arivied in the hall in time to see the end, and calmly told the guy, "Guess you picked on the wrong girl this time." If a teacher had seen it, both the boy and our daughter would have been punished, self defense was discouraged. Indoctrination, group think, victimization, our schools today.

The source of this will be attacked here, watch.

Anyway...While I'd be the first to admit this article sounds paranoid, it brings me no joy to say that I tend to believe it. Why? Well, I'm a father of two young kids. Helping them combat the strange information they are getting from school and television is a daily chore. If a parent pays attention they can see the information being disseminated, see the information consumed, see the reaction (confusion) caused by it, and then (hopefully) take an active role to reverse or prevent it. One example - Just a few months ago I asked my kid's school teacher to not teach my kid about the government putting spies to death while my kid is in 4th grade. I just didn't feel it was appropriate at that age. But...that's public education in America now.

I was involved in research that looked at the blood and hair of vaccinated children vs tests of unvaccinated children. That was my big, first glimpse into this matrix.

And there are those here that will refuse to acknowledge the vaccine problem. Someone posted an article showing that the UN was purposely putting sterilization chemicals in the vaccines given to Africans.

I think we can confidently say that whether it is stupidity or complicity...we are being programed to think a certain way.

Well, I went through boot camp in 1977 as a 4-by-10 Naval Reservist, and I don't remember being drugged (except that I, along with the others, was given some innoculations); we were required to give "donations", which was the Company Commander's way of referring to urine tests. At the time, I just assumed that was a way of testing our general health; later, I realized it was testing us for drugs. (I don't think the word
"donations" was meant to deceive us; I think it was simply a joke on the part of the CC.) I don't recall that either the urine tests or the innoculations had any effect on my thinking.
But I really do not approve of the "chemical straitjackets" in vogue now to make children easier to manage..

Here is an example of programing from a person that noticed the current trends in media and the culture...I thought it is apropos to this conversation:
"Russia interferes in every election. You didn’t care until you were told to care. Statues stood for over 100 years. You didn’t care until you were told to care. People are killed daily by guns in cities like Chicago. You don’t care about gun violence until you’re told to care"
That's a clear sign that many in this country and the world for that matter do not have a solid connection to their objective minds.
(Subjection) is the product of the brain and a lack of observation of self or we could say, they are one dimensional...that's bicameralism. (one part of the brain making the decisions and the other following or doing nothing).
The conscious mind comes from a unicameral brain.

You might retort by saying: Their minds are not objective but I would say in return, if they had one and used it, they couldn't help but be objective or at least question the rhetoric.

I can't tell if this article is a parody:
    - Media outlets continues to consolidate, so we don't get different points of view.
    - Poisonous food additives perform mental programming to make people docile.
    - MSG and aspartame kill of brain cells.
    - Fluoride lowers IQ.
    - People are vulnerable to unnamed effects of "processed" foods and pesticides. (Somehow they manage not to mention unnamed "toxins".)
    - "Older generations" "grumble that today’s youth are far less intelligent?" (Whoever heard of such a thing?) "Have you ever asked yourself why" it's happening now!!?
    - "many times, it’s the people themselves who seek [drugs] out" - There's a phenomenon as strange as new as older generations grumbling about youth.

NOT the nature of man is what we are seeing in man's cultures? What?

Always plagued the human species but whatever events you're speaking of are not due to man's nature?

Lot of things to be made clear, not least of which is the operational, the working definition of design versus that of evolution. If that gets resolved THEN maybe if not before, we can get some details of what is and isn't man's nature.

For me, man's nature is determined by what man's perceptions limit him to perceiving in conjunction with the modeling brain whose models of the world are error corrected by the senses of perception -- primarily vision -- on the fly as we weave ourselves thru streets, sidewalks, and the obstacles to the bathroom that somehow make sense to my wife to BE in that pathway.

The over riding nature or at least our historical observation of the majority of mankind is that mankind is usually good. We wish to be good, our nature is one of mutuality; otherwise if we ALL were as bad as progressive history paints...we would have ceased to exist long ago.

Think about it, what we study most often is the actions of rulers and those actions are attributed to the masses...do we often study the masses themselves? No, virtually only the rulers and their governments.

Even in societies that had some say in how their societies were governed is still not indicative of the overall behavior, thoughts, wishes and world views of the society itself...not even ours which at the present time, if we are to believe the polls, is a 50/50 split but you and I know that 50% of America has fallen for the ruse.

I have studied and observed people all my life, in an effort to understand my self and the true nature of mankind in general and I have to say definitively...the majority of people I meet are good, productive and creative and would lend a hand to others in need at a moments notice without even thinking about it.

And as for that other 50% in our country and perhaps 60% or more in the rest of the world; we can see what has been done to them, where they have failed to evolve beyond no knowing fault of their own.

Based upon my observations, studies, queries and polling: what we see today in our culture does Not represent the true nature of mankind...and all those confounding forces come from all directions...it truly is a wonder that the existence of mankind has always rested upon those that history has ignored....The Common Man.

Yep, agreed. About 95% of people will give a body help freely. 3% will just stand around refuse to help. Then there's that 2% genetic assholes who will act to hinder your efforts who it would be hard to find a jury of peers to convict a body for wishing ill of that 2%.

    Really?

Well, there are poisonous additives in our food that accumulates in the body over time and fluoride has been documented to be harmful.
Also, much work has been done on how cosmic rays and electron streams effect the body and the brain and it kind of fits in with the mania that accompanies solar and Grand solar minimums when we are most at risk.
Don't know if tin foil would do any good at all but it's a place to start....laughing

I agree that toxins can build up in our bodies and that solar radiation is indeed harmful to the human body.
But that has nothing to do with the article's assertion of some supreme illuminati using these methods to control the minds of the huddled masses.

Not "some supreme Illuminati " but the deep state: Unaccountable bureaucratic agencies and ideological political actors...can you say: georgie sorass?, for instance; not to mention the known marxist and their corrupt followers within our own congress.

Oh I agree Georgie is an evil man and all the deep state bureaucrats exist for their own personal fiefdoms. The same goes for marxist academia and their followers. I just don't believe the "They" are operating a coordinated attack against the average man using every conspiracy mentioned on the internet as suggested by the article.

I mean the fluoride in the water thing is right out of the 1964 movie Dr. Strangelove's claim of a conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids."

Not to mention, the leaders of these perversions are in high places and loved by the leftest of the world.

              Coincidence?...I beg to differ.

Not a coincidence at all. All those leftist groups are merely joining forces when a specific attack can advance their specific agendas. That doesn't mean they are working togehter for an overall common goal with a centralized command center, it only means they are riding on each other's coat tails while it helps them on a case by case basis.

Personally, I think that if all of their "common enemies" were to disappear tomorrow, they would be at each other's throats before you could say utopia. Just look at Bernie vs Hillary supporters.....
