They'll be after your military-style, assault Hammers should they succeed with the rifles. Better stock up on nails and spikes now...lol. The comment in the article left by Rick Jones made me laugh hard. What a sense of humor.

Would those "hammers" be the ones that our government bought $30,000 each?

Thank you and enjoy your posts. You would appreciate this, I put the bridge on a float in our town parade with a sign, why close another bridge in DE, and that same town council had to hand me a 3' - 1st place trophy... then I won a 12 page decision in court of how they unfairly re-appraised my property by $110,000. (no money, just a decision) so I've never been one to NOT fight the system. I am getting really tired of it though... So where are you ??

I think there should be an award for hitting a permalink. As if it's a mile stone of some kind. "And the Permalinker of the Year goes tooooo....."

I was wondering if that had been resolved yet. Yeah..sad. We may never get to read it at this rate. And I think it needs to be finished too, right?

Oh yes...when we moved across the country...pulling a uHaul (with an infant too), was very exhausting. I forgot that part. It's scary. Traffic is no fun. And I always felt like everywhere was a blind spot. When I climbed out of the truck, once we got here, I declared "Never again am I making that drive!" And so far I haven't. You'll forget about it too...after 20 years. :)

I suck at point giving!!! I liked her...and didn't like her at the same time. Excellently written book though. Do you know the back story on the author? The little that I know is interesting...

omg, pull an old thing, then we'll talk. especially if you are a front seat driver. it is exhausting. I am still recuperating and I haven't "pulled" for 3 months now.

I don't think the "task" of sitting (riding in an airstream, or pulling one)....combined with the "task" of listening... can really be called "multi-tasking". :) Sounds more like total relaxation (and yes...I'm a little jealous).

awesome. you may have to be my US mecca the next time that happens-because seriously I practically implode (or spontaneously combust-pick your poison) when I'm in the States. I'm really glad to have met you and looking forward to your insights in the gulch

you should have gave me a point for that-but since you didn't-I guess you are a a little worried about me. I loved the books. they were amazing on so many levels-and she was a fighter-depended on no one. now did I agree with everything, every perspective in the books-hell no.

Steamed Maryland crabs & broiled crab cakes on the menu...

Built an arched bridge (16' L x 4'w) to go over my pond, caused quite a ruckus and the town assessed it at
$ 4600.00, including it in my property assessment. You could walk over it, but it was a lawn ornament... I enjoy woodworking as a hobby, but only make what I need for myself. Furniture, shelves, bathroom cabinets, decoration things... (go to craft sales and if I see something I really like, I go home & make it). Built my house, framed walls, rafters, roof & shingles, insulation, drywall, paint, so a DIY'er. I was kidding about replacing my gun with a hammer... the blue handle gave it away....

Old Airstreams are cool. Have you ever seen that movie with Lucy and Desi Arnaz where they buy a trailer to honeymoon and live in..... It's pretty funny. The Long Long Trailer. (I have never listened to an audio book.)

ok, I rarely admit this. I saw the first one 5 times, the second one 3 times, the third one once- swedish versions. I'm pretty fluent in swedish now.
