One question I have to ask: when you are putting people on your election team, don't you think its a good idea to see if any of them have been or are under investigation by the FBI?

    Trump has found out that political people are generally liars and cheats, much more than business people. Reason is that if you lie and cheat too much in business, you wind up bankrupt.

      That's one of the main problems with government - the feedback systems don't rely on customer satisfaction and therefore can be rigged.

        thats why the states should run things by themselves. Its competition that exposes things.

        Check out the netflix documentary on the VW diesel scandal. Not that I agree at all with the whole EPA thing and the huge fines they extract from companies at all. But, it does show that VW got caught by the smallest of testing companies who wanted to find out HOW VW could have such low emissions in homes of finding out how other companies could figure it out too. They didnt try to expose VW, it just came out that way. point is that competition saves us from corporate or government wrongdoing

        I have thought that the main goal of government is the preservation and enhancement of itself and it’s minions. Any benefit to its customers is just icing on the cake

          I think that the Founders readily realized the dangers in government, which is why they placed so many limits on it. Any organization is going to seek to perpetuate itself, but governments have the ability to do so at the peril of their constituents because of their monopoly on force which a business does not have. It puts government at the mercy of those who work in it, which is the proverbial fox guarding the chicken coop.

    Sorry, but the FBI will not disclose the names of individuals they have under surveillance, pending dismissal or indictment. In this case, the agency knew they were doing more than just skirting the rules, and wasn't about to admit they had any American citizen under surveillance via a FISA warrant.

    IMO the released memo was a complete dud. It told me nothing I did not already fully expect from the corrupt government lackeys who are still employed in all of the various governmental agencies. Would a sworn law enforcement officer lie or omit all of the facts in order to obtain a warrant? You bet your ass some would and it happens all the time. The memo simply confirmed what those who have been following all of this suspected.

      But what it also does is expose the fact that those at the very top knew about it and therefore are guilty of obstruction of justice and perjury. Will anything be done about it? No one knows.

        I will not be holding my breath! The republican summary memo certainly does shed light but the one thing absent from it is any of the republicans whom we all know have stink on themselves. It does not take brain cancer---I mean a brain surgeon to figure some things out for yourself.

    Well, keep in mind how busy it is, and also that they were UNPAID Volunteers.

    Manafort was probably even a Democrat Plant, because his ties with the Podesta Group.

    I would think that is automatic...maybe they didn't reveal it to the President.

        I thought this already happened with Barack Obama and Fast & Furious, Solyndra, Benghazi, Iran, the ACA, Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton, and many, many more. That Democrats would be complaining because it is someone across the aisle just shows their utter hypocrisy.
