I found this and thought it was an interesting description of what has happened to the city where I live. I grew up and still live just North of Pittsburgh. Democrats have run the city for about 80 years.

An interesting debate has been going on here for years. Tax exempt medical companies like UPMC have thrived over the years(go figure). The city now wants them to "pay their fair share". UPMC is huge but they recently claimed they have no employees that they are all independent contractors. Greedy politicians and businessmen used to getting political favors do battle. I think we lose.

Good find Rich. The city is living only on the grubments good will and grants. A very precarious perch.
