I have mixed feelings about private funding bailing them out. That would mean the leftist totalitarians can still get away with dropping excrement on these kids and someone else will clean up the mess. If the kids are forced to not participate, then they will have choices to make later in life. If they disagree with the leftist agenda they can work to change it or move themselves and their talent out of the state. If they agree with the leftist agenda then they will have to live with it.

As of now, they are not going, despite 5 other teams going from Kalifornia. Their school is making the great ethical stand for freedom and domination of all things people do, and denying them the right to go. No, these guys I think go beyond "model" and get to "pre-industrial" sizes. Big bucks, but as the article says, rarely do the junior league guys get selected, so to not go is like having the Sand Diego Chargers (or whatever they are now) not go to the Superbowl because it is in a state they don't like.
