Interesting historic perspectives in relation to weather and climate.

One thing that caught my attention: Witch trials happened during a grand solar minimum and here we are, going into another GSM and we too, even in these so called "Modern" time are having Witch trials of sorts. Trials and persecution of: Climate Deniers, Those that hold to moral principles, those that expect that they and their property be respected...this list could go on and on the sorts of which would put the Salem Witch trials to shame!

Let's add a type of Prohibition to this list: https://youtu.be/RqwRWo3emtk

BTW, I have a friend who retired from this. His warnings were quite DIRE on this. He said, EVERY MORON is going to PRAY for warming. The Cold Kills...

Worse, they are now able to use some of this information to help PREDICT earthquakes (his partner in Japan, the predicted both the location and approximate size of an earthquake that hit. Exact dates are never clear.). But it is based on COOLING. I think his rough point was: "As the crust cools from less sun, less heat, it actually becomes more brittle. And then movement causes fractures!" (he was explaining it to ME to get the point across, any errors are mine)...

But this kinda made sense to me. And then he uses ONLY the satellite temps, and shows that we have NOT been warming.
But worse, that the Sun Activity is about to change, and we are going to start cooling.

BTW, somewhere up north, the 20 coldest days on record have happened in the last 26 years... Let that sink in.

and these MORONS will say "CO2 is causing this"... OMG... The best argument I had ended with "Well, you are NOT a climate scientist, and 97% of them agree!" and they walked away. I'm done trying to explain it. Nobody thinks these places are corrupt (owned by soros, many of them are).

Aye aye Capt. Your friend is right the Grand Solar minimum has started.
      See https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-5d...
This site is a daily solar update with an earthquake warning app

Maybe you can help me out. I have a great friend who is on the fence. The one thing he constantly says is "Clearly the weather was colder when I was younger. I was outside all the time, we skied, we played in it. We always had snow on Christmas... But today, most Christmases are without snow. The mountains where we ski (in Bulgaria) don't have as much snow, etc..."

I have no answer for "My experience is different". But there should be one. Rainfall and Snowfall are NOT climate. Clearly. But it is bigger, there is a PERCEPTION issue as well.

For example, as you get older, time goes by faster. I remember being 5.5 and was dying to get to 6yrs old. But this is now understood to be a function of your age. When you are younger 1/2 a year can be 10% of your life. It goes by like that. Nowadays, at 50, 1/2 a year is 1% of my life, and sure enough, it goes by like 10 times faster.

When people hear this, they tend to agree, or at least that it is true for many other people, if not them.

I am wondering if there is truly a perception thing where:
        1) Yeah, when you were younger you spent HOURS in the cold, and did not stay on the roads which were cleaned!
(Creating an experience that says it's not as cold, and there seems to be less mounds of snow)
        2) The Blizzard of 1972-4 (I forget) had 27" of snow, and cancelled school for a week. We built a 5 Foot IGLOO in the back yard. But 27" of snow to ME at 4 foot tool was INSANE. At 5'10" ... not so much.
        3) You cherry pick the past because it left an impression.
        4) Maybe a combination?

He ACCEPTS that ALL of their predictions have failed. And that keeps him open minded.

I will take a shot . The sun has cycles .we just past the Grand Solar maximum the solar activity peaked around 1998 very high number of sunspots. From the mid 80's for about 25 yrs we had milder winters then the previous 45 yrs that followed a very warm dust bowl era. Now the last few years winter is increasing in intensity. This is just the start in a few years your friend will feel the deep cold. Several contributing factors to consider is increased volcanic activity ,increased cosmic rays,
This is some limited data on sunspot activity note the trend .http://http://www.sws.bom.gov.au/Solar/1/6

Adapt 2030 is an good thing for him to watch, Dave documents actual events globally, He travels the world dealing with seed crops like coffee...if he shows you pictures of snow on the coffee trees in the tropics...you know it's the real deal. David and Ben at SO explain the climate cycles very well and these cycles are dead on and can be compared with many past events.

Remember, every other 11 years we go into solar max and it gets a bit warmer then we go into solar minimum. We have 400 years of Grand Solar Max's (and yes we still get winter) we have been coming out of that cycle and going into 400 years of grand solar minimums...and yes, we still have summers.
This cycle of Grand Minimum looks like it might be worse that all the others that have been recorded back 12K years or more because the magnetic shields are weakening and our solar system is exiting the magnetic cloud we have been traveling through for a long time. We are losing all our protection against cosmic radiation which causes clouds and weather events.
We really don't know just How bad it will get because of these factors.
          Biggest problem?...growing food.

As for Perceptions of time?...that's a whole other chapter we might broach at some point. Some of it might relate to our emerging consciousness when we are young or some other factors I've investigated but have not fully vetted out.

Your friend did not experience change in global climate. Global climate is an average of the weather over time and across the globe, ignoring fluctuations in both time and place. He remembers some impressions from discrete, extreme local weather events, forgot the rest of what he experienced locally, and projects it in his mind as global climate change. That is not measurement of his weather, let alone his local climate, let alone the global climate. Even the climate hysterics do not claim the global average temperatures have changed as much as he thinks he remembers about his local weather.

But it shows what they are counting on. People have always complained about the weather and have impressions left of specific events. The climate hysterics are politicizing the weather. They are exploiting the complaints and weather lore for politics, transferring the age-old "this crazy weather" into manipulating people into thinking their unrelated impressions are plausible support for their viro ideology. Every religion does that.

I don't know if I passed this on to you. I am involved with http://suspicious0bservers.org and have, along with many others, funded some projects.
Ben has a prediction app that reads the out going long wave radiation on earth which is a predictor of when and where a CME from the suns coronal holes will cause an earthquake...there Is a significant cause and effect there of earthquakes 7 and up.

Also, if you haven't already, check out adapt 2030 on youtube as well. Global climate data in real time...actual events the lamestream never reports.

Due to the hellbent propaganda, this won't be taken seriously until way into the bitter end.
The global warming parrots will keep on chanting, "This is global warming, this is global warming, this is global warming," until they all turn into silly looking human popsickles.

Sort of like the hysterical "crying-out" scene in Arthur Miller's The Crucible, where the mob of girls tries to keep the truth from being told. (Of course, that was a fictionalized play, but worthy of some thought).

They've thought ahead. That's why they are insisting on the term "Climate Change". That way when the solar minimum drives us into a mini ice age they can still claim that it's CO2 based Climate Change.

Their concept of science does not require making predictions that subsequently match reality. As long as you can adjust the model to explain the past you can claim the science is valid.

AND, they have yet another "evolution" in terms ready: climate disruption. That allows them to point to any event that deviates from a supposed norm as evidence of human damage.

And again, like all things liberal, it will point right back at them because they are in favor of geoengineering, which Will make the coming natural climate changes worse that it would be normally.

I've read that in the Middle Ages some blamed the
Black Death Plague on the Jews. (Why not, weren't
they supposed to blame everything on them?) But I
also read that a chronicler (I think a Christian chron-
icler) pointed out the the Jews were also suffering from it, too. But if the population is determined to destroy a group of people (whether it be Jews or industrialists), they won't be stopped by mere facts, will they?

In the Middle Ages superstition and mystical speculation were rampant. It wasn't about any one target like Jews; any target would do. Facts or any kind of restraint within reality didn't get in the way of any of it.

Fortunately, it's not the Jews nor the Industrialists...It's the government and the creatures that inhabit it we have to worry about.

Interesting factoid: the black plaque happened during a Grand Solar Minimum and what did we just learn recently?...it's back!...in Madagascar!

The Hebrews and the Jews, not to mention anyone else that ventured into the conscious mind have always been the target of those creatures.

And the Muslim/Arab population has Always been a big pain in the ass from day one also...

No one "ventures into the conscious mind". That does not make any sense.

Arab culture made some intellectual progress while medieval Europe sunk. Sweeping emotional denouncements in random venting about "asses from day one" do not contribute.

LOL! I've repeatedly said as much here in the past.
As many times as AL Gore has blamed global warming for blizzards, I think he will claim global warming to be the trigger of any climate change events.
Government-funded proponents of climate change will worm the same deceptive wiggles in order to retain credibility.
