Typical when the state is too powerful- as it is now in the US. Those in power feel they are better than the people, just like all monarchs, war-lords, and other bullies from the beginning of time. Power corrupts. ALWAYS. No exceptions.

Me dino has many times before described such puffed-up over themselves parasites as our more than equal elite betters portrayed in George Orwell's Animal Farm as pigs.
If this would be a step apart from the DC swamp, the Clinton Foundation Crime Cartel tops the list as the glittering capstone of American corruption.
As for Puerto Rico, its piggish leadership to the point of criminality that turns such places into s***holes.

They obviously don't have a conscience, rules for radicals or not, I can't imagine anyone doing that.
I don't care what anyone says, what excuses they make for their behavior...they just plain ain't human.

Remember, this was the same place where a whining Mayor accused Trump of screwing PR, then they kept complaining that their broken, piece of crap island was trashed by the hurricane and we have to bail them out, when in fact they have systematically looted the islands economy to the point it is an empty husk. Now, they complained continually about the US not helping them and oooopppsss...we had all the goodies stashed in a huge warehouse, said FEDs had to break into. This is criminal, as well as any deaths associated with a lack of electricity (and people who need electricity for medical need have died there, that was one of the complaints), they should be charged with conspiracy and murder. This is pure BS.

"This encounter reportedly occurred as around 50 percent of Puerto Ricans still remained without electricity."

"Now fast forward to Wednesday, when power finally began to flow in the Academia Bautista de Puerto Nuevo in San Juan, spurring cries of joy from teachers and students alike." and " The Washington Examiner further notes that by Wednesday, “83 percent of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority customers (had) power.”" Essentially a 25% increase in power connections in days? When it has been months?

This is not a new situation in PR. It has been going on for many years. It doesn't matter who is in power, the corruption is so deep and so common that the people are actually used to it. They expect it. Which it is why stealing the charity of the USA is such an easy and expected thing. The only way to donate to this beautiful land so that the people who need it, actually get it, is to guard it with weapons from the time it comes ashore until it is actually used. Otherwise only a fraction of the donation will make it to its destination. If at all.
