SpaceX's Zuma Situation is getting Weirder!

Sort of an interesting thing about a publicized satellite launch, supposedly gone bad, and some of the weird followup stuff that has gone on. Secrecy and stealth and sneakiness aside, a BILLION dollars of looted money went where? Who did what? Let's point the finger at? Kind of a classic "We spent a billion on whatever the hell we wanted, so shut up" situation.

    The DOD rep, Dana White, is unwilling to take any responsibility for anything. What a surprise. Government not taking responsibility. They kill people regularly and never take any responsibility. They wrong innocent people all the time and they control the just-us system to assure that they are never forced to accept responsibility.

    I'm betting they blame this on Trump ;^)

      Well, right after the Chineeses station hits...maybe Zuma is the anti China station weapon. I thought it was funny watching the DOD rep do the "I can't say anything or get fired" and the General "We told you all we don't know, shut up" back and forth. LIke, really? That wasn't a scripted show?

        They are laughing at their own unconstitutional roles looting the people. Makes me think that the satellite should be dropped on them.
        Nearly every federal employee is a looter with the exceptions being those few working in constitutional duties.

    I have to be careful here, but if I were trying to keep the presence of a stealthy satellite a secret, announcing it had failed would be one way to prevent people from asking uncomfortable questions. Before I retired from Air Force Space Command in 1988, I presented some ideas about how to make various kinds of satellites not detectable by ground based sensors. I won't reveal any of those technical details, but given the 30 years since then, I can't believe that technical advances since then have made a stealth satellite entirely possible.

      Maybe, but they bungled it, just say it is a classified launch and call it quits. No more said or discussed, just like they did for the shuttle secret launches.

      While watching the video, my caller ID showed that Name Unavailable was trying to call me.
      So I pressed the TALK button and made Name Unavailable listen to the last half of the weird voice on the video.
      I have nothing but contempt for Name Unavailable, Unknown Caller, Anonymous, Name Unknown, etc.

        That also seems to be what a lot of phone apps will use for one they do not see in your phone, as I get calls from inside work that are labeled that and I know exactly what phone it is. But yes, there is so much spoofing now, the do not call registry is a useless waste.,

          Yeah, me dino noticed that about the do not call registry. I thought I got on that and two years passed~ring, ring, telephone ring~before an email says thank you for joining us. I'm all like WHAT? I was told it would take effect in a month. That was several months ago. Nothing has~ring, ring, telephone ring~changed since they acknowledged my existence.

    On the Fly on the Wall session last Saturday, the attendees speculated that everything Was just Fine but they were trying to get everyone to Think, things went bad because they really didn't want anyone to know it's up there doing what ever they don't want to know...What it's doing.;

    So.....ZUMA is not a new South American dance craze. Because it has seemingly disappeared we are curious as to what happened to it, and what was it supposed to do. It begins to look rather nefarious.The fact that the person in charge of the project cannot answer this simple question makes the whole thing looks as if the Government is keeping a pot full of information from the populace. They are afraid to talk about it even in the most general of terms. This makes the imaginations of those asking about it, work in overtime. What is ZUMA? What do the letters stand for? Why so secret? Is it nuclear? Is it germs/viruses? Inquiring minds want to inquire.
