Isn't it great to have the respect of the world under our Dear Leader, The One, Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm)?

"We want to pass on a country that's safe and respected and admired around the world, a nation that is defended by the strongest military on earth and the best troops this -- this world has ever known."

How's that workin' out for us?

His lack of respect for the U.S. constitution and the blatant disregard for the freedom of the individual and the market are what make him look cowardly, not the fact that he is holding a poodle. Any man or woman with the courage and balls to defend our core principles would still look awesome holding a puggle with pink bow.

I have two thoughts. First, if one wants to be respected he need only do things that are respectable. Most Tyrants settle for fear if they can't command respect.

My second thought is we have elected the Manchurian candidate. You can either imagine this guy is so inept at what he does that all of this apologizing, dithering, and leading from behind are unintended consequences of an idealog not up to the job, or you could conclude all is just as he planned, he really is a genius.
The beauty of the American system is there is just so much damage the executive can do before he is replaced. BTW, when I was young "leading from behind" was commonly called following!

Not hard to find UN-manly photos of our dear leader. He rides a girls bike, wears " mom " jeans to throw out the first pitch at a MLB game that doesn't reach the time zone for home plate in the air, and Vallery Jarret has more hair on her balls than he does.
    Cheers

What the metrosexual-in-charge fails to understand is that without a forceful statement of purpose or moral declaration, his pronouncements have little weight. He spent so much time denigrating American character that he's robbed himself of the role of our spokesman, and is nothing more than a self-absorbed political hack.

It isn't just testosterone that cows international bullies, as Maggie Thatcher and Golda Meir had their enemies shaking in their boots. Elected heads of state, whether you regard them as leaders or not, should be the persona that present the image of the people they serve. Thatcher and Meir, and Netanyahu today, present an image of strength, determination, and strong purpose. Obama, with his waffling, indecisiveness, and destructive, divisive actions, represents only himself.

You mean forceful statements like some of these beauts?

"The journey will be difficult. The road will be long. I face this challenge with profound humility, and knowledge of my own limitations. But I also face it with limitless faith in the capacity of the American people. Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth. This was the moment - this was the time - when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals. Thank you, God Bless you, and may God Bless the United States of America."

After almost 6 years of our Dear Leader, none of those sentences have stood the test of time.

The tweet shows off a very Russian attitude. Don't bother with issues, especially when you're in the wrong, but divert attention with a non-relevant issue -- much like a slight of hand performer. However, Obama gives them so much in the way of fertile diversions that he devolves from a president into a clown.

Does anyone in the world respect/fear O? He's running out of red paint to draw that line in the sand. You know "cross this and I will do nothing"

Well you know how it is for the one guy to stop off on a hunting trip to admire that cat and then the other to have a photo-shop during one of his golf outings. Where's my caddie?

It is hard to respect anyone who does not respect himself enough to tell the truth about something in his own life. If he walked in and said he was gay, okay, but to hide his lifetime membership in Chicago gay bath house? If he had a real marriage, not some sham set up by Rev. Wright with who knows what. Not even his kids are reportedly his.If he had admitted he was a Marxist, let Marxists elect him, don't sham the voters. He let himself be promoted as a genius, when his IQ is about 117, even Bush didn't do that! He projected himself as Black, conned the Black voters, then did not do squat fore them, except to use them. He conveniently fails to mention his 50% white side, or his total communist background. Worst of all, he is Valarie Jarrett's lapdog, who can respect that, she does not.

President George W. Bush complained Putin dissed his dog Barney for being weaker than his.

If anything, this Kremlin tweet reaffirms the accuracy of an observation Obama made a few weeks ago about "looking tough is Putin’s schtick.” But, we knew this, right?

if he is calling this "schtick" that actually goes to further prove that when it comes anything east of Danzing including all of central Asia and Siberia the last couple of administrations have been totally lost. The current state of Russian US relations are mostly due to 22 years of pretend they don't matter policy.

Is it soooo wrong for me to say that I agree with Putin? I think this is a wonderfully amusing ploy in a one-upmanship game. (If all international disagreements were with 'dueling photos' we would be living in a different world.)

Sad, very sad, I never thought for one moment that I'd ever see the day that the US was perceived as having it's tail between it's legs. I just hope we survive until November and then again until November 2016. It may take decades to recover from where we are today.
