New York Suing Oil Companies but how about suing New York For shutting nuclear reactors

This is a rather short article, mainly a series of questions, but it does raise the basic question regarding all of the libertard efforts to "change the world". When they take these draconian stupid actions just for the propaganda value (as the people get to foot the bill for all this lawsuit action), should not the reverse be true? While disposing of nuclear fuel is an issue, so is running any energy plant at this point, so whose "evil" is worse than others? Should not the state people be allowed to vote on what power they want? Or better yet, pay for their power on a sliding "green" scale and see how committed to saving the world they are when it is their money?

Those actions were taken when the impact of carbon on climate change was known

    Correct. The impact is zero.
Well at a detailed level, there may be a small cooling effect should increased gases in the atmosphere reflect more of the sun's heat back out, and assist convection of heat from the surface out to the upper atmosphere where it would radiate out.
Very dense gaseous atmospheres increase temperatures eg. Venus, but the Earth is not close to that by some thousands of times.

CO2 increase comes after warmer temps. The increase is from more plant growth particularly in the cooler regions. We have completed the warming cycle when the sun was very active (sunspots) . We have entered the GSM The sun is very quiet. We have gone through these cycles and have not faired well. In increase in volcanoes
As well as clouds from cosmic rays that contribute to the cooling. There is also a strong correlation with the moon's movement which had been at a northern most eliptic which likely pulled the warmer waters south further north melting more arctic ice. Now this ice is building rapidly as the moon continues a more southerly eliptic and the sun sleeps. With a weakening Magnetisphere and the sharp increase in cosmic rays it is getting cloudier creating a further albido effect along with the increased ice. Not to be ignored is the compression of the atmosphere due to a weakened shield. This is disruptive to the jet stream and the intertropical convergence zone.
The result is "rivers of Rain" from the sky and massive flooding.
      In areas not tropical.

I do like the line of logic that says if you demand one industry change or restrict itself, and then demand another, and think you can blackmail one, you ahve to have equal treatment of both. So NY suing oild companies means they should be compendsating ratepayers and offsetting the "impact" of using coal and gas to replace them,. The Liberal mentality though, will always warp and twist an issue 8 ways from Sunday to justify whatever corrupt agenda they chase. Even the Republicrats do it too, so it is not a party issue, but a "political animal" issue.
