This is so sad, but should I be guilt ridden about laughing myself watery eyed listening to the Truth...in the face of leftest racisms?

    A documentary put out by - marvel of marvels, PBS - discussed the reasons why Dominican Republic is relatively prosperous while neighboring Haiti is desperately poor. Turns out the people of Dominican Republic decided centuries ago to become a trade center for the Caribbean, while Haitians rejected trade, favoring instead to "celebrate their blackness."

      Interesting...back to their "Tribal" roots and all the anticivilized mysticism's to boot!
      That's precisely why our forefathers and most others at the time questioned if these tribal like people could learn and contribute to civilization.

      They soon found out that they could, if motivated and the "Black" founders, (wallbuilders.com) today would make everyone on the left look like kindergartners!

        Kipling tried to warn the U.S. about what it was getting into when we "adopted" the Philippines to escort them to freedom and democracy. Read his poem "The White Man's Burden" when you have time. It's a litany of British experiences with tribalism, and many should be reading it as part of their education before we rush into places like Afghanistan.

          They are non-introspective societies, some have a conscience of course, but they are in a minority...same with many, many countries. Our experience with immigrants here in America, it takes several generations to awaken them, in the mean time, many will remain uncivilized in one way or another.
          Language and writing and learning are the key factors.

    This isn't about sh*tholes or racism.
    This is about the left getting Trump out of the White House by any and all means necessary.
    This goal has nothing to do with telling the truth either.

      You know, if I didn't despise the left so much, I would almost feel sorry for them. No matter what they try, Trump is still the president, and will continue to be. Those questions asked in the health conference yesterday were a disgrace. BTW, when Trump said that we need more people from Norway, the Fake News Media deleted the last half of what Trump said, which was "and Asians".

    What shouldn't be overlooked is that the claim that Trump made the comment at all has been denied by no less than two other Senators who were present in the meeting. I call this an orchestrated LIE by Democrats perpetuated by the mainstream media.

      Exactly!..but it didn't come till a day or two later...even Fox didn't report it right away...You know, I don't really care, I know trumpet is not racist, racist is a progressive invention and to call a place a shit hole is not racist either, no matter Who lives there...conscious folks,know that.
      But still, the video and commentary is Funny!

    I am SO DONE with the charges of racism going around today.
    I always thought it referred to categorizing some animals as being human and deserving of “human rights” based on their DNA that gave them skin color. I always thought this was a stupid idea and made no sense to me

    That said, I do think there are other characteristics of people that I find I am attracted to or epelled by.

    I tend to put a lot of weight to the culture a person has grown in (due to the deep seated influence it has). I like some cultures and dislike others and I think this is ok and want to surround myself with people I like.
    I think this is ok, given I have to use generalizations living in such a crowded world

    I don’t like the Muslim culture, the entitled cultures, cult cultures like Mormons, and certain Asian cultures. Doesn’t mean certain people born into a culture will adopt all of its beliefs.

    Today, preferring to eat vanilla ice cream could be interpreted as being racist against blacks.

    I prefer to live around people who hold similar intellectual thoughts. Therefore I don’t invite randomly chosen Somali or Syrian refugees to live in my house. If they will enhance my life I may choose to invite one, but it would be merit based

    I think merit based immigration is the way to go, and we should implement that policy immediately. As to DACA, the ones who pass the merit based standards can stay- otherwise out they go
