"Shaming is part of the problem" says Beautiful Blanca Blanco wearing Red.
Rose Mcgown a rape victim said.
"Actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster, are wearing black @GoldenGlobes in a silent protest,” McGowan tweeted back in December. “YOUR SILENCE is THE problem. You’ll accept a fake award breathlessly & affect no real change. I despise your hypocrisy. Maybe you should all wear Marchesa,” the fashion line of Weinstein’s ex-wife Georgina Chapman.

#timesup an organization set up to assist in the fight against sexual harassment.
I was STUNNED when I saw a tweet this org made about a photo of Cathrine Zeta Jones
In all black with a plunging neckline.
Their tweet She looks" STUNNING"
We have a senator in the Minnesota legislature
Who is charged with sexual harassment for basically saying the same thing in an email to an other female senator.
Sadly when the liberals get involved it gets worse for the victims they pretend to champion.
Sexual predators are the scourge of society.
To make every unwanted comment harassment
Is a slap in the face to a true victim of rape or molestation.

That anybody would put up with what Weinstein did sickens me - literally turns my stomach. Who said something? Who confronted him? Brad Pitt. But, that's about it. What a depraved society walking the carpet...

On Sunday, Argento tweeted to McGowan, “No one should forget that you were the first one who broke the silence. Anyone who tries to diminish your work is a troll and an enemy of the movement. You gave me the courage to speak out. I am on your side until I die.”

McGowan, 44, replied, “And not one of those fancy people wearing black to honor our rapes would have lifted a finger had it not been so. I have no time for Hollywood fakery, but you I love, @AsiaArgento.”

Rosanna Arquette, who accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct, tweeted to a follower, “No we weren’t invited. Annabella [Sciorra], Daryl [Hannah], Mira [Sorvino] … none of us were.”

The gaggle of sexual predators and their enablers wore black to receive absolution from their pseudoreligious savior, Oprah, who praised them and the press for "speaking their truth" about their past sins. No doubt in exchange for their support for her Presidential run in 2020.

How can a comment be labeled as a sexual comment since we can now be any sex we want to be?

If I think Catherine Zeta Jones is hot, what does that make me? Does "if" give me any protection of getting labeled?

With all this crap around if you say to a woman you don't know that she looks good you get put in prison. Why can't girls be girls any more and accept a complement when it's given

From what I understand, a lot of those actresses got to be successes because of putting up with the harassment rather than quitting. (And, as someone pointed out on the radio, maybe some others didn't get the jobs they got). So maybe there's some hypocrisy there.

I don't watch award shows anyway. Besides having no TV reception (because of the networks'/stations' going digital), awards shows just bore the heck out of me. It isn't that I don't think achievement should be awarded, but I like to look at a story that has a beginning, middle, and end.

It is an industry that awards the sexy and attractive. But that is not enough. The casting couch or a previous ability to attract an audience.
Having the right look at the right time all likely to help get the role.

In American culture, black signifies death. Who died? Did they die from a pat on the ass? Let's not blow this out of proportion. Sure, male sexism is a bad thing. And I'm not trying to say it should be disregarded, but it doesn't deserve to be the number one priority that those hopping onto the bandwagon seem to want to make it. There are a few things much worse than a naughty grab, squeeze or pinch. Rape is another matter altogether. Now we're getting serious. Rapists should be skewered to the extent that the law allows.A person cannot be condemned of actions that might occur in the future. Like everything Hollywood decides is the latest fashionable thing to condemn, they should be pointed out as people who love to exaggerate and glamorize. Whenever they find a mole hill, they will exert much time and money until it becomes a mountain...

As usual the WFA offers great wisdom "Hollywood should be pointed out as people who love to exaggerate and glamorize."
That make me think of the trailers for up coming shows that give you a 15-30 second burst of scenes depicting a women being stalked or a victimized as an advertisement for Entertainment later.
For sexual harassment in the work place as humor see "Cheers" depicted by that great liberal Ted Danson.
Hollywood loves to show sex and violence together. Those two are like fire and ice they do not belong together.

One of the ways to neutralize anything is to make it funny. People are less inclined to do something if they think it makes them look like a fool. There is no specific garden of Eden, the whole planet is Eden. More than enough for anyone who wants to put forth a bit of effort. But all that the monkey boys and girls can do is to fight over it like apes.

To be honest, since hollywood has come out for hillary, my interest in hollywood movies has seriously been diminished. Even the older movies with the really outspoken stars dont interest me anymore. I just pass by them on directv.
