Louisiana teacher handcuffed, arrested after bringing up brass salary at school board meeting
This is interesting, the looters always think the "elite" need raises (if you look at salaries for superintendents they bear no relationship to the job), but when the teachers and staff have not had raises, one has to wonder at the looter mentality thinking they need to give the guy a 30K raise. The to toss her out and arrest her...thats just not good. I am willing to bet their board is all of one party, as it seems when a single party is in power, they ram their agenda down our throats.
In the USA.
This type of footage used to be shown as an example of the evil red communist state....and I agreed. It looks to be more out of Minsk than Thibodaux.
After all "there's rules and protocols" that matter more than rational thinking and ethical behavior.
"Where is your dedication?" was said to those who complained.
A lot of the officers were Birmingham area ex-steel workers (jobs went overseas) and got the AFL-CIO involved.
Then we got OT of comp time anytime we worked late.
Receiving am AFL-CIO magazine with Slick Willie's smiling face on it was quite the groaner. It was promptly trashed.
Is the school board an elected body?
If so, start a recall effort or run better candidates in future.
Better yet privatize education.
Dat means he gets his 30K raise! Get it?
Yeah, get it. Get it dat dem be two words youse mugs best remember.
Yeah, get it. Yeah! Yeah!
Stand in da way of da soup, and youse gonna get it!
Youse gonna get it big time! Yeah-uuuuh!
Down in MIAMI we are paying the superintendent like a Basketball star!
In California, the School BOARD building is called the Taj Majal (sp) because it is ALL MARBLE.
In our schools, we have so many office staff and assistant principals. I think a full 30% of the workforce don't teach!
Bring back the little red school houses!
the case, I think I have to (that's "teacher", singular)..
My own district begged for a bond issue to build five new schools because they had too many students crammed into classrooms. They closed five other schools after they had the first four built because they didn't have enough teachers to staff all the schools and couldn't afford the upkeep on the "old" buildings.
They still retain ownership of the old buildings and use them for administrative purposes.
