Start spreading the New York news~
To save yourself with a gun here is to lose.
Or however that Happy New Year song goes when the Times Square ball drops goes.
Yeah, North Carolina woman Tonya Wooten, 52, may have saved her life in New York City when her 30-year-old ex boyfriend kicked her door down. She shot him in the neck.
Marlon Womack went to the hospital.
Tonya went to jail. She had no New York pistol permit, which me dino heard is really hard to get in that state.
So here are options of what Tonya Wooten shoulda done instead.
1. Tonya should have asked, "Marlon, don't you think I'm way too old for you? You make me feel like I'm robbing the cradle. I mean, do you really want to be seen with old bag like me? So please, just leave and I'll forget about the door."
2. Oh, so you don't want to leave. Please, calm down while I dial 911. We'll let New York's finest sort your hard feelings out.
3. "Whoa! Come one step closer, Marlon, and I'll launch myself into a flying drop kick with a guttural karate shout of "Hai!" It's that outcry that adds zest to any karate punch, chop, or kick. Watch me do some karate kata stuff. Hai! Hai! Hai! Hai! Hai! Hai!"
4. "Hey! Hey! I said to come no closer! Guess what I got? THIS GUN! Ha! Ha! Now that scared you, didn't it? I'll make you more scared! See? I'm aiming my gun straight at my face. Come any closer and I'll blow my head off? Then you'll be sorry big time!"

Once upon a time in becoming my (1982-2003) distant past as an Alabama corrections officer, there was a black inmate with the nickname of Suicide (I kid you not).
He served his adjudicated time for raping a woman, was released, immediately raped another woman and came back so fast it seemed we had a Star Trek Scotty working a transporter.
Within days, Suicide punched a white female officer in the face and fled to the black top of the Southside where the less dangerous inmates lives in dorms.
Me dino was on the back gate tower and saw him come out the east hall door.
So on the hand radio I added to the information being exchanged about his latest villainies and ID'd his 10-20.
Then I saw Suicide become encircled by about a dozen male officers who then beat the crap out of him before hauling him off to the shift office.
      Was this racist?
Well, almost all those male officers I saw beat up Suicide were black.
It was more of a guess what happens when you a prison inmate punches an officer kinda thing.

It's bad behavior not the skin color that matters.
A yes ma'am would have been better than a fist in the face and would not result in a ruffing up.

If I had been the warden, that violent fool would not have been walking around. We had crap for a warden at the time.
Warden Dino would have put that repeat rapist in Cell Block 3 as fast as he came back.
This may sound racist That's an Administrative Segregation Block as opposed to a Disciplinary Seg that could be 20 days or a month with only two meals a day in single cells.
That repeat rapist would eat better in a two-man cell and would definitely deserve to share cramped living space with a big bad Bubba. Hopefully, for years.
Cell Block Six is Death Row. Hmmm~
