The US government simply has to label a foreign person or entity guilty of corruption or human rights abuse, and not only can their assets be frozen, but the assets of any US citizen or entity that the government determines assisted the foreign person or entity can be as well. This further erodes the tattered remnant of American property rights. Multinational corporations down to individuals now have to worry that their foreign contacts and transactions might run afoul of a bureaucratic determination of culpability by those with whom they contacted or transacted, exposing them to an asset freeze.

The international asset forfeiture program where vague definitions designed to stir emotions, who wouldn't be against 'human rights' abuses especially if they threaten 'our shores' and financial stability? What exactly determines an abuse? I noticed that President Trump enacted 'emergency powers' suggesting that whatever is needed to put out the fire will be required.
A state that can demand your resources immediately to be surrendered to them because you are 'suspiciously' carrying them with you and then you have to find more resources with which to challenge the state implies that we already live in a police state.
As I stated before, the only difference between Clinton, Trump, Romney etc. is the lie they will tell to convince the voters to give them office and will then swear to willingly obey whatever decree he gives until they can convince the tyrant to let them be free. As long as you ask the tyrant for permission you are not and never will be free.

Asset forfeiture without trial is an unconstitutional abuse of the American justice system and it prevents the accused person from being able to hire the best defense.
How do any foreign "human rights" abuses threaten American shores and financial stability? Sweat shops enslaving workers overseas are in competition with American workers, but I don't think this is the intent of this EO.

Thanks for highlighting the statist actions that continue under Trump.

It's only a matter of time before they, or a future administration, use this unconstitutional power to come for us and others who have done nothing but to desire liberty and privacy.

Power corrupts and NO ONE IS IMMUNE to its effects.
The only solution is to stop supporting our domestic enemies.

Soros funds his foundation contributing $18 billion. I am curious if this shelters these funds.
It is not a corporation . Technically it is not his money anymore.
History will tell I guess , if Soros timing was to our detriment. Because I think he is a traitor and an instigator of riots and bedlam.

Me dino is gonna steal the "trickle down" concept and apply it to how Soros shelters himself from incrimination.
There is no direct line that leads back to him for the funding of any bedlam he instigate.
Soros contributes money to go-betweens who fund other go-betweens.
Glen Beck explained it all when he had his daytime TV show on Fox.
At the end of a show, Beck walked to a distant door, reading aloud names and dropping clipped together paperwork, each bundle representing organization that Soros funds.
It was an incredibly long line of paperwork.
Beck's daytime TV show hardly lasted a year after that.
Soros with his support groups managed to chase off Beck's advertisers.
It was later on that Beck went a bit flaky and I stopped listening to him on the radio.

It's hard not to go a little crazy when you see how this country is being attacked by a devious elite
Class that desires all to be dead or in their servitude.

That and what happened to his TV show may have got to him.
Beck had openly admitted to having recovered from alcohol abuse and other problems following a divorce on his TV show.

    Welcome back from vacation!

Thanks for sharing. I heard nothing of this but no surprise since most everyone in the media that I listen to was also on vacation. This kind of action was the main reason I feared Trump being elected. I hoped to be wrong in that fear but it's not looking good.
