How many of you have personally invited a maker to the Gulch?

    Absolutely nothing.

Regarding eggs though, I believe in North Korea, everyone within a family is authorized to eat 1 egg per month, but it's considered illegal to actually own chickens.

True. But there are many documented stories about atheists going into combat (WWI, WWII, Korea, etc) and coming out God-fearing and yes, believers.

Anyways, I haven't invited anyone, yet.

actually 2. the second one was in here awhile and decided there were a bunch of tax cheats in here. to be honest, I am more interested in getting people to read the book, watch the movies. If they find their way in here-then I guess I hope I don't figure out it's them. Like anyone, I'm for meeting new, like-minded people!

Two. One had already been a member, long ago, and had to drop out. Haven't heard from the other.

I guess it must be time for you to re-read Atlas Shrugged, then.

Atheism is very much a part of AS.

Yes, but I don't know if they've jumped in. I can ask them. I'm sure their comments would add to the fun here!

I saw someone on the capitalism website that left a message, Who is John Galt. Sent a friend request on facebook to her and she accepted. Told her I read AS and she said her father had a trucking company & put "Who is John Galt?" on the back of every truck. So, when I found Galt's Gulch due to an invitation from the Movie e-mail, I told her about it and she said she would check it out. So not sure if she is on here or not... hope so, because she really puts some great things on facebook. And of course, my Father, who introduced me to AS and a few others......

Although Rand was not religious, I don't recall that being part of Atlas Shrugged. Consistent with Objectivism, people can choice to believe or not of their own free will. At least that's my take on it.

Six, none here yet. They are all "conservatives" and Objectivism conflicts with their religeous beliefs. I told them not to sweat it, so we'll see.
