This is further information I said I would provide in my post on Objectivism and Homosexuality. But, this discussion is far beyond what we prefer to do behind closed doors: this is all around us. Assuming you read and watch it all, what are you going to do?

I believe you're absolutely on the mark. They are everywhere: the education/indoctrination system, the courts (State & Federal), Executive, Judicial, entertainment..."I see stupid people" ~ The real 6th sense.

I believe the Besmenov video on how the Soviets successfully infected the American society with it's subversion program should be shown/taught at every high school and university across America. The problem is too many leftist's would either freak out/deny or say it's "hate speech" or something close to it.

I laughed when Mr. Besmenov said "Half-baked intellectuals in offices in Gov't." All I could think of was Obama, Kerry, Reid, both Clintons, Dodd, Frank, Feinstein, Pelosi...gosh the names keep going on and on. Not to mention the ones we don't know in the unelected Gov't: EPA, Dept. of Energy, DOT, FCC, Dept of Ed, etc. This country is, and has been in serious trouble and I don't see how this lunacy can be stopped. I totally concur with you kathywiso on your observations.

What an informative article..the question was, is it too late....think it is for educating the public sheep..have educated my son & people around who are of the same mindset, but think the producers need to prepare for what is coming. These liberals will find new education when they get hungry and will be looking for survival where they can... those of us that know how to survive, will have to fight, we will be annihilation targets. Who wants a free thinker in a communist society, and what free thinker would want to live in that society...your neighbors will be your enemies, as they already are in my eyes... No, it is game over for sheep. Going Galt will have a new meaning when it starts. So glad for this capitalist website...

There's a lot here to digest, and I've been thinking about this topic of "subversion" a LOT lately.

But we arrived home from our road trip last night and there's a seven-ton house outside that needs to be properly parked/leveled/connected to shore power, computer systems that need to be re-assembled and configured, etc. and I fear I'm not going to get to what I want to contribute to this thread in a timely manner.

I find Bezmenov (sp?) fascinating. He corroborates the observations that I've been making for something like forty years now regarding USSR/KGB influence on American culture, and yet is so absolutely, totally wrong regarding his views on human sexuality.

Ayn Rand had some strange views on human sexuality too. I'd like to learn more about just what the hell the Russian cultural nuances are in that regard; it might help me understand Bezmenov (AND Miss Rand) a little better.

In a nutshell, I think the KGB got the whole Sexual Revolution entirely wrong. I don't believe that removing arbitrary cultural restrictions on human behavior that is clearly encoded into our DNA led to any kind of "weakening." If anything, permissive sex has led to a happier, healthier USA.

That's all for now. Gotta get outside in that freezing weather and get the Seven Ton Beast all buttoned up for winter.

I'm not going to speak to the points made in the piece about homosexuality, but I did find the article and video very interesting, and I agree this is what has happened. But I diverge with the author on one major point. The idea of protecting "patriotism" is a bad one. For example, the US is filled with "patriots" who will hold to the flag and the pledge regardless of Constitution falling around their ears. The whole idea of hundreds of thousands of people standing in a stadium, citing a pledge from rote while looking at a flag is scary to me (even though I have taken comfort from it and been filled with pride while doing it. I learned it as a kid and that is a Pavlovian response as discussed in the piece). Patriotism is not the point. Freedom and a free society is the point. and I bet the US was so easy to turn because we think in a block-like the patriotic souls we are. Keep the patriotism whipped up while you downplay the capitalist freedom part. It doesn't matter, as long as we're patriotic, as long as we're Americans.
