The only reason the stupid democommies are running the show is because the even dumber Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sixpack voted for them or didn't vote at all. We get the "gubbament" we deserve to get.

The gun laws are just plain dumb. The most dangerous gun someone would do something stupid with is a .22. Without body armor it still kills. They are light, small and have plenty of models out there that have clips. They are cheap enough that anyone could buy a small handful of them and they kill just as well as heavier rounds.

Even then the two worst school based mass killing I could find were in 1958 (fire was the tool of choice, killing 96 if memory serves) and in 1927 which was explosives (dynamite) and it was not as bad as it could have been because much of the dynamite that was set did not go off.

Punishing the whole of society for crimes they have not committed needs to come to a swift end, but it will only accelerate.

There have always been and will always be nuts that want to do crazy things. Any restrictions on the public will not change this. Availability of things to use as weapons cannot be fully removed and there are far worse/better (depends on perspective) choices that can be used for mass killings. IE there are other things that will kill far more effectively.
