First off...I have a crush on Ivanka. And, if I can raise my daughter to be like her I'll be a very successful father.

That said, I have come to realize that a large portion of America, as evidenced by this story, is ridiculous in it's hatred for this President. Two nights ago I heard my own brother say about the tax cut, "It was forced on us." How in the hell do you "force" a tax cut on people. As opposed to what? My mom has lost her mind about Trump. And, my dad is talking gibberish about current events around Trump. Just total gibberish. "Those rich corporate CEOs are celebrating this new tax bill." My response, "It's not the government's money to start with." "(silence)". Anymore, I'm no longer talking politics with anybody - not even close family. The truth just makes people angry anymore...

The parents (some of them) were upset that they didn't have the option presented to them. The sense of the article was that more would have pulled students or even demonstrated against President Trump if notified earlier than the day of the event.
At least that is my take from the article.

The title is misleading...from what I read, only 1 parent pulled her kid from school.
Besides, I thought shielding students from controversial subjects was a prerequisite for many colleges, nowadays.

Well, it provides millions of commuters to another embarrassing place: New York City. What else could you expect?

The MSM would have covered it extensively and seen to it that only supporters were given a voice. I'm surprised FOX reported this. People like this should be ignored.

The Evil Hag voting parents at that school would have thought a visit by one of Obama's daughters (during or even now after King Barry's reign) would have been so-o sweet and wonderful that they'd be patting their hearts while moaning out of sheer ecstasy.

I can't believe how disrespectful some people can be. It should be seen as an honor to have the first daughter visit a school. Had this have been one of Obamas daughters I would have said the same thing. Pulling your child out of school is ridiculous.
