The Conyers Story

If you get a chance, listen to Freedomain Radio Podcast FDR3905 to hear what the mainstream media isn't telling you about the Conyers harassment settlements. Over 200 settlements paid to women who have made allegations toward congressmen to keep them quiet - settlements paid with tax dollars. Conyers used taxpayer funding to shuttle mistresses around. Get this...this is my favorite part. The settlements were paid by...wait for it..."the office of compliance". Who do you think is expected to comply?

In listening to all the news on similar allegations made almost entirely against leftist men of power recently I've come to realize some things. Feminism, as it is practiced in America, is a joke. The mainstream media doesn't care about women. There are some real scumbag guys with no game in positions of power who, for way too long, have gotten a free ride from the establishment. My daughter, like my son, will learn self defense. She's got my demeanor and that brings me comfort. A young lady today better be ready to kick a guy's juevos up through the top of his skull.

Stefan points out something in this podcast that I've been thinking about, too. One of the reason the left establishment was so worried about Trump is that he wasn't establishment and, therefore, an environment may be created that matches his term "drain the swamp". These people all had a nice little arrangement where they were covered for as they tormented women. How disgusting...

McCarthy's tactics have been painted in the progressive history books as a "witch hunt", but McCarthy was actually outing real Communist sympathizers in government - both elected and non-elected.

One article I read over the weekend, comparing Moore and Conyers, brought up the dangers of these allegations. Primarily, these people coming forward are merely stating allegations until they are proven in a court of law. Meanwhile, their careers are being torpedo'd regardless of the truth. It seems that all it would take to end one's chances in public office are to gin up allegations and watch their polls tumble.

Past examples of this type of behavior:
    - 1600's: Salem, Massachusetts (granted, before we had a Constitution with Bill of Rights). People charged with witchcraft and executed.
    - Latter 1950's, Washington DC, McCarthyism. People charged with communistic sympathies and publicly shamed.
    - Late 1980's, New York: Tawana Brawley charged four white men with rape.

Unfortunately, this will continue without the necessary skepticism.

"" Over 200 settlements paid to women who have made allegations toward congressmen to keep them quiet ..."" Wouldn't that be paying a woman for "services"? and wouldn't that make the women, sort of, a whore?

I am willing to bet that it is a matter of time (perhaps a fairly long time, at least 4 more years) for Obama escapades to break surface. I cannot believe in his sainthood while being married to someone of indeterminate gender.

He only grabbed the reporter's breasts; more diversity, according to the Party faithful, would be to grab more of her. Remember, the Party is never wrong!

just another way the looters have looted more
unfortunately there are too many voters who are in their camp wanting some of the loot.
so they will be reelected regardless of how devious and crooked they are.
welcome to the new America which is very much in decline.

Perfect example of how all people are corrupt and too much power in one place can 1) inspire corruption, and 2) provide adequate power to conceal corruption, another corruption.

However, I don't care if Congresspeople engage mistresses or mr-esse, as long as they use their own resources. That is between them and their spouses.

Here we have a blazing fire about Conyers ongoing habits and not a peep from Democrats, yet Roy Moore gets a questionable item from 35 years ago dredged up against him and Democrats are quick to point fingers.

I sometimes wish there was a disease that literally would make peoples' noses grow visibly when they were hypocrites and liars.

When MSNBC covered (reluctantly) the story about Al Franken they said, "This shows the need for more diversity."

I still don't know what that was supposed to mean...

The entitled have a problem with the word no.
Four careers that have both in common : the elected , Entertainment, TV / Media , Pro athletes.
Of course the far left are making any unwanted advance or attention in to sexual harassment. Also they don't have a problem with bringing up he said she said incidents that are decades old . Some type of statute of limitation on adult victims not necessarily children. This muddies the water and provides for settlements and payoffs .The result is not to deter the real predators but provide reputation ruining fake assault charges , most importantly it doesn't protect women. The message that needs to be heeded is to live your life in your own ETHICAL
Self-interest. An ethical character does not infringe on any other individual PERIOD.

Shame on the Office of Compliance for this obviously racist report. Everyone knows a black congressman in a black district never does anything wrong.
