Very interesting. I wonder if employers telling their employees about the election has an effect on the employees vote? Will they realize that they need to vote for Romney or will they vote for Obama, figuring that they will be fine and get even with their boss?

Business owners right now are clinging to their last string of hope that they will be able to keep their businesses open, but are waiting until they know they HAVE to close up shop before they actually do it (if Obama gets reelected). It's too difficult and costly of a task to close up preemptively, even if it would show up in the jobs numbers before the election because then the business owners (if Obama isn't reelected) would then have to reopen, rebuild, rehire etc etc etc. As usual, all of the writing is on the wall about this, but one has to have their eyes open and their Obama blinders off to even be able to SEE the writing. Too many people are too occupied with the sheeple chant: O-o-o-b-a-a-a-m-a-a-ah.

This article is very interesting. It reminds me of a conversation with my sister who is a loan officer for a major bank in the area. In that conversation she mentioned how companies are very skittish. They are not getting into leases with long term (3-5 year) contracts, or borrowing money with any kind of early payoff penalty. Her observation is that many of the small business she works with are on there last leg and they know it, but they are doing just enough to hold on until things change. She thinks that if Obama gets re-elected we will see a large number of small businesses in the area simply close up shop and they are not getting into anything that forces them to stay in business for to long should that happen.

Cant say exactly why that article made me think of that conversation, but it did.
