Laughing at Millennials

Got a chuckle out of this. Yes, the author is intentionally mocking those who can't be bothered to use any critical thinking skills and who think that communism is a good thing by telling them that they're going to get to confront the consequences of those choices.

Humorous until some quasi-liberal Fascist leader decides to manipulate their sensibilities, maybe?

We've already seen what Bolshevik Bernie can stir up. As old as he is, me dino doesn't think he'll be back, but I could be wrong.
A charismatic socialist half Bernie's age could prove to be very dangerous.
No, not the Deep State Obamanation.
Somewhere out there has to be another awaiting big time threat to freedom and The Constitution who has yet to serve his or her two terms.

Many good points. But I've read/heard (in the newspaper or on the radio, I forgot which) that the
people younger than the millenials (have they come along yet?) were less leftist than they are. So
    maybe there is hope.

We can always hope, and of course many of these are generalizations. Not all millennials are so blind. The unfortunate reality is that they will inherit an absurd national debt load and social welfare responsibilities they will have no ability to pay for. That many choose to vote for socialism despite not even understanding either what socialism is or its ramifications is just sad.

The Debt Clock is very depressing. I think that I will have another glass of wine.
The article was spot on! Mr. Schlichter said that we need to "start thinking about what unites us." Well, I'm trying, but I'm having a hard time coming up with something. My philosophy on life can be summed up in one sentence..."Contrary to what you may believe, the world doesn't owe you anything." Until Millenials can come to grips with that, we have nothing in common.

Well said. Aesop would be satisfied to know that someone was paying attention - even if most of our current generation is going "Aesop who?"

Like lemmings marching off a cliff.
These Millennials have been taught very well that they are not responsible for their behavior.
Thus no consequences and no need to think .

It's the parents to blame for coddling our kids. It hurts to see our kids struggle but it's part of growing up. We don't want them to make the mistakes we did, but they need to in order to learn.
Teach them to rely on themselves and willingly help others instead of expecting something from everyone else.
