Couldn't bend my left forefinger for many years but I thought I might pickup the piano but that never materialized...hell, I don't even re-record my music anymore. Funny how I just constantly move on from one thing to another...just how I've lived my life.
You mention clear sky's...this year we've had the most and bluest sky's of the last 10 years...year before last, we also saw, con/chem trails approach every day like a Nexus cloud. (Star Trek-Kirk).
Finally we will reach 40/day and 30 tonight and maybe in the 50's this week...couldn't protect my squash, which started growing again in the past month...but even being very small, they were still delicious; stuck with lots of green tomatoes though.
Yesterday it was a high of 24 with gusty wind and a wind chill near zero .Last night light snow. Today the sky was clear for 5-6 hours a nice high of 44 before the contrails milked the sky. Then a huge parhelion around the sun before the thin clouds from the high altitude planes contrails overtook the blue .it was notable being only the second clear sky in a month. I wonder why these jets make clouds.... weird.
freedom and dob...how's your weather? New England went from 40/50/60 degree day/night weather to temps in the 20's day and night...one day shirt sleeves next 3 days so far...Eskimo gear!
Man!..give an old ugly guy some warning!!! Now I'm OldUglyIcicleCarl.
Thanks! I'd listen to Ella, or Maureen, or Linda, too. Plenty of room for more great vocalists in my library though ;^) Just bought some vintage (and some less than vintage) gear, too. Pandora and Spotify are keeping the good tunes coming. Enjoy, DObrien!

I love a mix of violins and an orchestra accompanying rock music.
Have a great weekend Freedomforall.
