Singer Asks Whites To Move To The Back

Oh, how oo wee beautifully PC.
PATOOIE! Turns my stomach!
If me a white old dino went limping along to the back, I'd keep going until I was outside.
Me the allosaur would also be sorely moved to roar on the way out.
Hope me with my dino temper will omit profanity while yelling something like, "Stupid racist PC pinheads!" and/or "Libtardism is a mental disorder!"
I was about to click on Submit when I had this new thought~
Perhaps the best thing I could yell while leaving would be, "Look y'all! I'm Rosa Parks! I'm Rosa Parks! I'm Rosa Parks! I'm Rosa Parks!"
Follow up thought: Hell's bells! Bet all those millennial little self-righteous punks would not even know who Rosa Parks is.
Was. I now recall reading that she died.
Whoa! Rosa Parks refused to go to the back. Never mind.

Another shining example of the new Jim Crow. Notice how her action was defended.

Noticing such things these days will prompt racists to call you a racist to hopefully make you shut up and sit down. .

Indeed. I believe, as Ayn Rand pointed out, the power of the looters is often dependent upon the sanction of the victim. As long as white people can be brainwashed and intimidated to "shut up and sit down" or to genuflect to such demands this is going to get a lot worse.

The PC mantra of the new Jim Crow is actually quite simple:

The black man that stands up for his rights, family, and community is a hero and must be praised.
The Hispanic man that stands up for his rights, family, and community is a hero and must be praised.
The white man that stands up for his rights, family, and community is a hateful racist, oppressor, Nazi, KKK member, Alt-Right advocate, and must be put down like a rabid dog.

I lived through the "civil rights era" and though I was quite young I understood enough to truly believe in equal rights for everyone and thought privileges based on skin color were idiotic. A merit based (content of character) system made a great deal of sense. It seemed by the late '60s the nation was well on its way to achieve that goal. That is, the race based system of Jim Crow was clearly dead throughout the nation as a whole and a new era of mutual respect was rising rapidly. Millions of white people, who were privileged under the old Jim Crow, saw the merit of tearing down that racist system and worked and voted to kill it. Then in the late '70s (hardly a decade had passed!) something happened. A new Jim Crow began to form, which was the same as the old Jim Crow except the racial pecking order was changed. The REAL civil rights movement started to fail. A popular radio talk show host said the civil rights movement became the civil rights industry and it's down hill from there.

The power of the new Jim Crow requires the sanction of its victims to live and grow. And it's growing.

Me dino is into the "content of character" concept in the "I Have A Dream" speech by MLK.
One's "content of character" has nothing to do with any skin pigment accident of birth.
What ancestors may have done has nothing to do with with a person's "content of character" either.

"Good neighbors come in all colors." I agree, but
"Ass holes come in all colors" as well. As soon as it becomes generally acceptable to separate racism from ass-holiness without being called a racist society will have come a long way.

Having seen Watters of Watters' World interview so many clueless people on the street and on the beach, I think we have a long way to go before we will ever be able to pry pulled race cards from the mouths of anal oral orifices.

AS I am certain that this singers Racist attitudes are well known. I ask myself why would anyone other than a black woman go to one of her shows?

"a black woman go to one of her shows?"

I think it's bad regardless of your physical attributes. Imagine if you were a female with dark skin. You're into all the things you're into, your job, your plans for the future, hobbies/interests. More so than when other people enter the office, the lab, the convention, or whatever, people note "a black woman" came in. Security and policy officers often are biased. Hiring managers or customers may be biased: "It was weird. This black woman came in, but it turn out she was really good at..." You may benefit from affirmative action programs, and people wonder how much your achievements are based on your merits.

But for the most part, people get past that. People don't want to be racists. In the modern world you can forget about that crap and just be you. That "the black woman" crap is mostly from history. Esp once people get to know you, they think of your as the person into knitting, the person who's a "jedi" at spreadsheet pivot tables... not group identity crap.

And then you go to an event, and the performer highlights this crap you wanted to get away from. I think you'd be way madder than if you were a white male and this crap didn't come up as much.

To me her antics sound stupid, as though we're giving this too much thought. But if all my life I'd be struggling to be seen as me and what I actually do, and then someone comes along and highlights my group identity --- I would be livid.

I agree with your position and yet as the Black woman would benefit at the show. Those Black women less mentally evolved would revel in the attention and flock to just such a show.

The constitution bestows freedoms to individuals, not groups. Giving the latter special rights conflicts with individual rights. This principle seems to be lost in our culture.

What silliness. If I was in the audience, I would walk to the rear, and out of the auditorium door and then to the box office to demand my money back.If all the whites did that there'd be no problem. And the photographer was likely doing a job which required close seating in order to get usable shots. By the way, what prevented blacks, browns, yellows or reds from getting seats up front in the first place? Was it the cost? If that's true, then keeping to the same philosophy, why aren't blacks allowed to exchange shoes with you if you have an expensive pair that you saved for weeks in order to buy?

She was a great, talented perfoformer who broke barriers by putting up with the shit of racism. add to her talent, that she was a beautiful woman and she became an irrisistable force they had to use her or be racist so they gave her strictly "Negro" roles. But like Sammy Davis ,she broke through.

Me dino was going to watch a Sammy Davis, Jr., special performance on TV where I lived in Dothan, AL, approximately during the mid-60s.
As quickly as the show came on, the screen turned to snow.
My dad said, "Somebody did not want that on."
I do believe I then went to my room and did my homework.
Must have been nothing else I wanted to watch on the other three channels~which were working.

Although I doubt any of these racial activists have actually experienced slavery, or even racism, their intent is to make sure that it continues so they can exercise what I would call payback. They dish out what they have not received. They are just joining the Sharpton’s and Obama’s of this world. It's not like the Jews who actually continue to fight the prejudice and racism against them in this world. If you continue to preach some untruth, eventually you will get what you preach.

Why worry about an insignificant singer? She will run off most of her audience and will suffer into a deeper abyss of racism. She should learn to embrace and learn a little from all races and take the best from all of them. She apparently doesn't understand common sense.

The only one's that should be sitting in the back of the bus, or anywhere for that matter are crony's, progressives and stupid polititains, government bureaucrats and of course, liberal demoncraps.

There should be a dark dank and lonely place for all parasitically unwashed delete ruleless humanoids to sit.

Locking all these sent to the rear vermin in a cage until the end of the trip, the performance or whatever may further help to keep them from infecting young innocent minds up front.

Exactly!...the same goes for "trans genders", "lesbians and homosexuals". I'm thinking we should add No Genders too!
That's what "don't ask, don't tell" was all about. It was that way in the fifties and not just in the military...and guess what...we all got along without being divided or called names.

During the 60s, I recall reading an editorial about how the word, gay, appears in so many classic poems and that now it was a tragic loss because no one would touch it save for a reference to homosexuality.
"W'ell have a gay old time" was still in the opening song of The Flintstones at about the time the out of the closet so-called gay revolution started. That's the latest old-fashioned use for "gay" that I can recall.
Shortly thereafter young dino heard that gays with signs were in the front yard of singer Anita Bryant because she said something they didn't like about homosexuality.
I was all like "What? They would do that? Can't she have her opinion?"
Such was my first introduction to that stifling of free speech tactic used by the left. Now it's no surprise to an older and wiser dino that the left has progressed to the beat-down terrorism tactics of Antifa.

Unfortunately these young pinheads are actually creating racial division. They are helping no one. We have had the Civil Rights movement, now it is time for them to achieve as citizens of equality. Each time we give them something for nothing, we return them to slavery. Blacks need to see this for what it is, the race against race Alinsky method, which actually first came from the communist Russians. They are falling right into their hands and helping the country become Marxist/Communist.

Unfortunately, they don't really realize what they are doing with their foolish actions. Keep in mind that they were "educated" in school systems populated and controlled by marxists/communists. They won't come to an understanding what they have done until, and unless, the left takes over and begins the purges of the "useful idiots". They will be the first to go to the camps and, eventually, to the wall or whatever means the left devises to remove them from the planet.
Fools and simpletons they are. "They know not what they do."

I am not sure the back of the bus is that bad !! I used to sit voluntarily in the back in north carolina back when the "coloreds: HAD to sit there .

Today we are bombarded with all sorts of politically correct demands in terms of speech, who you vote for politically, and many other things.

I am to the age that I say what I want, live in the neighborhoods I want, and vote for who I want.

If it offends the snowflakes around, so be it. They can get over it. I also try to stay away from them unless there is something that I desperately need from them.

A good test is to find out if they voted for Hillary or supported Sanders. If they did, I shun them. Doesnt mean they have to had voted for Trump to be ostracized by me.

Once long ago as I was growing up in Atlanta, I was sitting one seat ahead of the white line on a crowded bus and an elderly black granma had made her way back, but it appeared that not one black person was going to give her a seat, so I stood up and offered her mine. The bus driver actually atopped the bus and chewed me out! I was so nonplussed I got off his damn bus. It changed my outlook then and there.

I was a teenager in Tampa in the early 90s. People always relinquished seats for females if the bus was full at that time, especially elderly women, out of chivalry. I've never seen that in my home town in WI. I am okay with either custom. I've never seen the blatant racism you describe. It's completely foreign to me. It's good you didn't always go along with it.

Decades ago a Mad Magazine parody showed Muhammad Ali's caricature yelling, "We'll have white slaves!" This attempt to reorganize the room is a major step towards reverse racism. And she labels it love and unity.

Many concert halls have varying prices for seating. Maybe that's not the case in Halifax. But if people have purchased reserved seats, no whim of the performer has the right to deprive them of their seats. White people in the audience are enriching this singer. Why would anyone want to attend a concert of someone with such attitude?

Notice that she discriminates not only against whites but also against men. Why would she feel "unsafe" when she has a crew and security staff on hand? Will defending the whole string of sexual exceptions lead her to discriminate against straight people?

If all seats cost the same, how about rearranging the room for unity by alternating white and brown guests, like a checkerboard. Or was this whole controversy just another marketing scheme?

I agree with what you are saying here, but don't go along with the phrase "reverse racism". Yeah, I've seen this phrase before when people try to explain racist actions against white people by non-whites, but it's really a bogus phrase. People of color that advocate or perform racist acts against white people are not "reverse racists". They are racists, period.

Edit add: Her "love and unity" label is about as truthful as the name "Democratic Peoples Republic of North Korea".

Points well taken, Mc. However, we still need a word other than simple racism to denote reactionary, vengeful, counter-racist, blowback, mirror-neurotic rejection of those not of close enough kin. This is meme warfare embedded in the emotional part of the brain. Reason is virtually helpless against that condition.
