Over in the Pics is a thread where they are discussing some philosophical questions started by Scott. One of the threads said "there are no real life Reardons". I propose that there ARE real life Reardons. They exist are are doing exactly what Hank reardon did: create a new way of doing something, do it better, faster cheaper. Here is my proof, this girl is absolutely amazing.

Yes. Just like Rearden. Newer. Faster. Cheaper. People can know about their own health. Not to be a negative Nellie here, but I wonder how long before they shut her down? She is a threat to several crony-capitalist companies, not to mention govmint agencies.

Well, geez, that sounds so Atlas Shruggediest doesn't it? Corrupt business and government trying to shutdown innovation and creation? Or just co-op it for their own use? My point was just that, AS is alive and well in all it's forms in our world today.

No idea,it is privately held, however, when it does, prepare to pay through the nose, ears, eyes and throat. This girl is a modern day model for Hank Reardon, no kidding. The company announced Sept 10 that they are opening centers in every Walgreens in the country. They can provide full diagnostic lab results in hours, and at half the price of current methods. There are no humans involved in the lab process which eliminates a very large number of errors. Go to their website and look at the people she has drafted for the board of directors, all names, meaning that she runs the company, they appear to be legitimacy inducing names only. The girl is absolutely awesome.

No doubt IPO stock will be expensive. However, if you can get your hands on 1-5 shares, you could be in good shape. The thought which occurs to me is they are dealing in nanotechnology, which could have enormous applications in the field of preventive and recuperative medicine. Nanobots to kill cancer, monitor cholesterol, maintain an excellent 3% body fat, repair dying cells? Longevity enough to go to the stars? Limitless possibilities.
