This just in: Diane Feinstein and the Ruling Class DC Marxocrats have determined that its high capacity magazine and intimidating appearance are sufficient to classify the Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle as a dangerous Assault Weapon and therefore not legitimately protected under the Second Amendment.

Enjoy it while you can Ralphie: turn it in and be a slave, or bury it in the backyard and go to prison.

Merry Christmas!

I recall reading somewhere that a Japanese WWII general claimed they never seriously considered invading the US mainland for the simple reason that they expected every tree to have an American with a rifle behind it.

Scalia is not my "homeboy." I don't know him or even necessarily like him. I certainly disagree with him if he stated what you claimed he stated.

At the time of the Revolution, individuals could own cannons. Did they go around annihilating other citizens? People will only want an RPG if they live in a society that is not free. Weapons are expensive. They do not produce anything. Free people are not going to waste their time and money owning the most advanced weaponry. But if the government takes their freedoms away and is happily using force in that pursuit, you will see people investing in M16s and the like. You go live in downtown Detroit, and report back that you feel free as a bird and completely safe without being armed.

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

There is no caveat or details as to what type of arms. That means ALL arms are protected.

I have no idea how to private message. I grew up North of Detroit, in about the knuckle of the thumb (of a mitten map). My parents and a couple siblings and their families now live up North (near the tip of the middle finger..lol, again mitten map) not to far from Cheboygan.

I'll talk with you about it, if you like. How do we do that private message thing? Where in Michigan? I have a close friend who is a teacher and raised her family in Cheboygan

I think it's interesting you refer to the Left as "Marxocrats" and I have referred to them as "Demunists" Ha. The same thing, but different words. No, they can't have my Daisey .177 BB pistol either! :P
