I also wonder if there are ethics rules, similar to those for lawyers where members of Congress are held to a higher standard. Borderline threatening remarks that would be legal for a citizen could cause an attorney to be disbarred.

I don't like her because I think she is a phony, playing her constituents in order to occupy a position of power and to get rich from corruption. I will say that, in lieu of the fact she was speaking at some kind of event honoring Ali, that her metaphor was not totally inappropriate. Trump constantly gets tarred by his detractors jumping on and misinterpreting every word he says in a manner to make him look bad and I think that is unfair to both.

It seems like law enforcement should investigate if she's conspired to threaten him. I don't think that's extreme since she's a powerful person. Maybe she would like the publicity and would act simultaneously tough and persecuted, in which case she and President Trump are of a kind.
