From Material Girl to Burka Girl? If Madonna actually knows the Old Testament and the New Testament, she'll really get a kick out the outrageously twisted versions that Mohammed gives in the first 11 Sira's of the Koran. LOL. So stupid & naive. Hey Madonna, who built the Kabaa? Well, at first it was allah, then it was Adam & THEN it was Abraham. Who claimed it was each of these at different times? Mohammed. How big was the Ark? 1000 cubits long and 600 cubits wide and it had sails. Really? Who said that? Mohammed. I hope she knows that islam is a one-way proposition...death to anyone who leaves islam is the penalty. Who says? Mohammed says.

    My question is: Was Mohammed Republican or Democrat? And how many focus groups did he use to come to these conclusions? That could lead to some pretty flawed logic....

    Joke: She sometimes has S&M themes, and so do the Judeo-Christian-Islamic religions. Maybe this explains her interest.

    Seriously: Studying religions is a good thing, nothing shocking. World religions are one of the Six Sources of Unitarian-Universalism, so we regularly hear talks about other religions. The kids actually go to other religions' services, so in some ways they learn more than the adults. If adults want to learn more there are adult education classes. The only thing unusual about this is Madonna is a celebrity.

      Madonna is on record as doing the Koran thing for the shock value...hardly a worthy reason.

        I don't see what's shocking about. I hear about religions every week at services. I find it shocking people take them seriously, but I'm okay with it as long as they don't make scientifically falsifiable claims using it. I don't understand the nature of the universe. Religions try to explain some of it and are tied to values we take for granted, and tied to a lot of nonsense. I don't get what's shocking about someone getting into religion. It happens all the time.

    Didn't this hag talk about loving the Koran about a decade or so ago?? I'm convinced she's mentally ill. The second she got done recording La Isla Bonita...she cracked. (Okay fine...maybe before then, but I like that song so that's what I tell myself.)
