We’re very pleased to welcome two new Production Assistants to the Atlas team, Kira Halling and Matt Wood, both long time admirers of Ayn Rand.

Kira was named after Kira Argounova from Ayn Rand’s "We the Living" which her mom was reading while pregnant with her. Kira read her first Ayn Rand novel, Anthem, in 9th grade and completed a senior thesis paper on Objectivism. Since moving to Los Angeles, she’s attended the American Musical and Dramatics Academy and has been on set as a featured background artist on Victorious, Glee, and Californication.

Matt Wood graduated with a B.A. in Electronic Media from Texas State University in May of 2013, and recently moved to Los Angeles. Before joining the Atlas team, Matt worked at Duncan Scott Productions, through a Moving Pictures Institute internship, where he helped restore “We The Living,” the classic film based on Ayn Rand’s novel.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Kira and Matt.

Kira and Matt are examples of talent that exists in our community, and it pleases me tremendously to include them on the production.

For the cat? Guess it works as well as any. You should hear the names my daughter picks for her pets, mostly to do with food for the cats and God knows where for the dogs.

I went to that other college south of there in Edinburg, now known as UT-PA. Back then, it was PAU. When my mother graduated, it was PAC.

Thank you for the great welcoming here in the Gulch. I'm really excited to be a part of such an amazing and dedicated team, and in the company of so many supporters of the book and the film.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I came on Duncan's team after his work on "The Birth of Objectivism," and I'm very pleased to be on the Atlas team now. Hopefully I can add to the already amazing talent of people on board.

I actually did a little fencing with a friend who was captain on the fencing team while I was at (SW)Texas State. It's quite the workout! Thanks for the welcome. Go Bobcats.
