We’re very pleased to welcome two new Production Assistants to the Atlas team, Kira Halling and Matt Wood, both long time admirers of Ayn Rand.

Kira was named after Kira Argounova from Ayn Rand’s "We the Living" which her mom was reading while pregnant with her. Kira read her first Ayn Rand novel, Anthem, in 9th grade and completed a senior thesis paper on Objectivism. Since moving to Los Angeles, she’s attended the American Musical and Dramatics Academy and has been on set as a featured background artist on Victorious, Glee, and Californication.

Matt Wood graduated with a B.A. in Electronic Media from Texas State University in May of 2013, and recently moved to Los Angeles. Before joining the Atlas team, Matt worked at Duncan Scott Productions, through a Moving Pictures Institute internship, where he helped restore “We The Living,” the classic film based on Ayn Rand’s novel.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Kira and Matt.

Thank you for the great welcoming here in the Gulch. I'm really excited to be a part of such an amazing and dedicated team, and in the company of so many supporters of the book and the film.

Welcome Kira and Matt. That is a great story Kira. Your background is amazing. Your mom must be an amazing person to have recognized Ayn Rands importance at such a young age. We are excited to have you. I saw on youtube "The Birth of Objectivism" a Duncan Scott production. Sounds like you are perfect for us Matt. Did you work on that project? Welcome to both of you and as one producer to another---Get To Work! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome! I came on Duncan's team after his work on "The Birth of Objectivism," and I'm very pleased to be on the Atlas team now. Hopefully I can add to the already amazing talent of people on board.

    I have a question....
Will part of the Production Assistants jobs include keeping us informed of current production progress? We'd like pictures...Hell, we'd like footage..with commentary. (The gulch is starving for this stuff.... let's document history in the making!)
