All part of the strategy, formulated by Cloward and Piven, promoted by Alynski, executed brilliantly by Obama.

He and his masters have their own idea of what America should be. They will use any means they think is necessary to achieve those ends. Essentially, a do anything you think you can get away with philosophy. Or, a more evil is good contradiction. This is demonstrated time and time again, and they have gotten away with a lot lately. Ethics and reason are not important parts of their believe system. It is hard to stop these kind of people. Way too many are hurt before they fall. AS showed this well.

I am pretty much convinced that the president of the US govt is deliberately causing problems such as this to crash this country. Nothing else can explain why everything he involves himself with turns to crap. How long is it going to take before the people rise up and demand his removal and the removal of everyone in the govt who cooperates with him. This administration is the proof that we need to demonstrate that govt does far more harm than good.

Has been arming various federal agencies, and for quite a long time.

The fact that their munitions purchases have been going on well before this SCREAMS of deliberate intent. This is just one more facet of O's plan (or his puppet masters) to deconstruct the US. When the riots happen (and we're close) look for martial law, the suspension of the Constitution, the re-enaction of the Sedition Act, the seizure of guns, etc.

When those things happen, with O or someone like him in power, this country is finished.

    We are very close.

This has gone waaay past compassion for the kids who have been pouring over the border. It is the same as Hamas using human shields in its war with Israel. I don't know how much more anti-American acts fostered by the government it will take before the citizenry either rises up or becomes a herd of sheep. Maybe that's why the Obama regime is arming the various federal agencies.

This guy starts with a decent point but goes way beyond that. Someone's going to come across the border with a "dirty bomb" in a backpack? Illegals are a threat because they aren't vaccinated (they don't have vaccinations in Mexico)? Etc., etc.

I admire his idea of billing Mexico for expenses incurred by illegals in his jails. A county sheriff, however, does not have international authority. And if there is a treaty with Mexico about such matters, however old (he does not mention specifics or where one can read the text of the treaty), his duty is to respect it and to communicate with an appropriate enforcing authority (my guess is that would be the State Department).

The FBI did not threaten this guy. They made him aware of an existing threat. I would regard this as a service (if I needed to watch my back I'd certainly like to know about it).

The major difficulty underlying this entire situation is that Mexico is not, as such, run by its government. It is run by a group of competing criminal organizations. Several Central American nations are little better--or at least are dealing with serious government corruption. Let's face it--we're not going to get anything from those countries except refugees.

And you know what? Those with the determination and and strength to get themselves here are probably those with ability and ambition. We could use them in this country. A significant number of Americans are unemployed because they aren't bothering to look for work. There are plenty of jobs out there for those willing to take them.

The "one pea at a time" principle. The State Militias have slowly had their sovereignty surrendered to the standing army we're not supposed to have. The civil rights movement helped a lot with this.

This deserves consideration. However, might be better if there was a brief period of marshal law to fix the drug cartels.
Would be a lot easier to police the border between Guatemala and Belize. US might incrementally improve as well.

If so many want to be Americans, let then vote to dissolve their sovereignty and petition for annexation to the US. Let's face it, being contiguous to the continental US is not required for statehood.

Yes it does and our government couldn't care less. If thats not cause to at least throw his people back into that cesspit then I don't know what is. I'd wager after the Bush years and now with O these sheriffs will be hurt or killed and even then nothing serious will be done.

    Hello AJAshinoff,
It sounds like the President of Mexico is putting our Sheriffs on a hit list and the drug cartels are his henchmen.

The fedgove is obligated to pay the bill but they consistently renege. This is a major sticking point Governor Brewer and Sheriff Arapio have had with the last two Presidents. Shameful.

The sheriff should demand payment in gold, not in dollars or pesos.

You are preaching to the choir in that. I do think we can be equally concerned about both if we cared to do so. There is no legitimate reason why the National Guard, Air Guard, and Coast Guard are being used on foreign soil. They are NATIONAL resources intended to be used for the immediate defense of our nation.

How can we possibly care so much about Afghanistan, Iraq and other hot spots and ignore this. This is crazy.

There are numerous acts of war occurring daily down here (including mexican military violating our borders and firing into the US). Nothing will be done.

I like his thinking. If the cartels actually carry out that threat I would consider it an act of war. At some point the military needs to get involved and wipe out those cartels.
