They treat money earned overseas by Americans living overseas as their property as well. Directive 10-289 is alive and well already - even if you're in South America or Europe, if you're an expat, you're still owned by the US Government, and they have the claws and reach to show you just how much they own you, your work, and your life.

I just used that "Berlin Wall" analogy in debating this with a friend yesterday. Interesting. I fully expect to see restrictions on hard-working, educated people so that we may not leave also. It would be "patriotic" for us to want to stay here and friggin slave away, vs. running down to Chile or Ecuador.

These leftists are a mixture of commie and Nazi. A bunch of dangerous a-holes, really.

When the Hobby Lobby decision was announced, liberals said repeatedly that corporations are not people and thus, can have no 1st Amendment rights. Patriotism is an emotion only felt by humans, since a country is a human construct. If corporations are not people, how can they be unpatriotic?

The Liar-n-Chief has proposed multiple times lowering the Federal corporate tax rate, which would keep corporations from moving overseas, but has done nada about it. Canada cut their corporate tax rate to 15% and business is booming.

US citizens are de facto owned by the government and regulated by it worldwide, Foreign banks fear us on their own soil, and Foreign Companies will not sell here without special backroom trade deals because the import tariffs are too high to turn a profit.

So much for the land of the free...
