Seems like they are waking up to the relationship issue between producer and consumer and the expectations involved.

- 2Posted by GaryL 6 years, 6 months agoAs a consumer I have never done any personal business with Equifax yet they have all of my personal information as transmitted by any and all creditors I have ever used. As far as I know there is no way to Opt Out of any of the big 3 credit reporting entities.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 2Posted by rbunce 6 years, 6 months agoHow about an opt out option for them keeping any information on you? I know credit would be harder to get... but that is OK and if a significant number of people participated, the lenders would figure it out.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|

- 1Posted by CircuitGuy 6 years, 6 months agoI think they're trying to maintain the perception some bank customers have that the credit bureaus are as important as court judgments and that the bureaus' opinion is as important as having wealth.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 2Posted by $ nickursis 6 years, 6 months agoWell so far I have a 148K judgement and it is only fit to wipe your a@@ with. There are so many loopholes and political BS in local courts you can't win. I had a lein on property that was never removed, and on the third try, the same judge that put it on it, took it off because she said we did not register it with the BK court, which denied the bankruptcy of the dude because of perjury and reduction of assets. I am 40K in the hole and still have lawyers telling me "well you should appeal, this is not right, she is wrong". More money later, we still lose and they say, well you can't always predict a judge... no right or wrong anymore, just slip and slide.Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|
