Their are abusers and frauds among both those who claim disabilities such as this passenger did, and those who have "service animals." We used to have stable, sensible, predictable rules on this topic. Then the feds stepped in with both the un-called-for ADA and the un-called-for "service animal" act, promising both sides that they'd always win. This crap is the result.

All she had to do is check to see if there were any dogs on her flight. Then, she could have booked a different flight with only minor inconvenience. I think she was as phony as a six dollar bill. She took the dogs as an opportunity to get some notoriety, and look for a lawsuit in the near future.

At least Southwest got real for really real trained cops to remove the lady from that flight.

A family member of mine has an actual life-threatening allergy. You can be sure that BEFORE he ever gets on a plane, he knows the situation and is either prepared for it (if possible) or doesn't get on the plane. That's what you do when your life is in danger.

And yeah, he has papers, and the epi-pen, and whatever else he needs, to prove it. On his person at all times.

I think about that doctor who was punched and dragged off an airplane. When the dust settled about a day or two later I remember hearing people saying that, "Oh, his medical license had expired" as though that made it ok to break his nose and force him off an airplane. It was a logic rope-a-dope that the addled masses were eager to lap up. I find it funny. Say it with me..."Yeah, they punched him in the face and threw him off the plane but his license had expired." LOL

I just found it to be an amazing story of arrogance and privilege that these idiots just assume belong to them, because of WHO THEY are. It all points back to the common idea we see in politics, entertainment and even science now, where if you do not worship their particular ways, or presence, they just flip out, then the name calling, the hysterics, sounds like anyone of the protests we see all around us today. A pattern?
