    That's why it stayed as buried as Ebola in Lagos...

    Otherwise we would have had world panic, revolution, and people strengthening the borders to keep out all illegal foreigners...

    They need a crisis *they* can control and manage, and a Carrington event, like an incurable, 90% mortality disease, they cannot control. And having no control is a missed opportunity for gaining power that can't be exploited.

    This is what some NASA scientists were referring to when "global warming" became "climate change" or "abrupt climate change". A solar storm of this magnitude is a legitimate global security concern.
