“People like George Soros, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Paul Krugman, Joe Stiglitz, Jeffrey Sax, Dean Baker, Robert Poland, Larry Summers have said they all support a transaction tax.

The government has a right, the government and the people of the United States have a right to run the programs of the United States — Health, welfare, housing – all these things.

The bottom line is we’re not broke. There’s plenty of money, it’s just the government doesn’t have it.”

—Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN)

Wow. He looks like a villain when he says it, as if he's going to reach out and steal your wallet or phone. Watch his gesture in the video.

It has always been that the have-nots feel that the haves owe them and either take from you individuality or have the government do it for them Just like Phillip Rearden

    Hello RBrowntn,
What is more frightening, that this guy is in office or that people voted for him? He is a cradle to grave provider... keep them on the gov't plantation, big government and vote for me, i'll get you stuff type!
    Respectfully,
    O.A.

They will destroy themselves. if you quit saving them. Health, welfare, housing are not rights. Rights do not require others give up something (i.e.money, time) in order for someone else to have something. Rights are not given by the government your born with them and the only thing required of other is to respect them.

" it’s just the government doesn’t have it."
hasn't earned it, doesn't deserve it, and will NEVER get it.

But the real issue is the source of the money, and the undeserved unearned centralized power it creates for the banksters and looters.

Looters. Impale them on the white house lawn.
