This is BS. names should reflect what is intuitively obvious to most or all users. The pictures on restroom doors are just fine as is.

I've referred to the WC as "the euphemism" for quite some time. As in, "Excuse me, I have to go to the euphemism."

You could always call them "water closets," or "WC" which is what I remember from my travels in Europe. I never thought it particularly appealing but it skirts any gender issues and doesn't imply a bath...even though water IS involved.

For all gender rest rooms, I think I always called them all gender or "family". I don't actually have a name for that. Most of the world calls them "the toilets", but that sounds crass to my American ear. My kids watch so much Canadian TV I expect "washroom" will make inroads with the generation after me.

Ok...how about Facility Cleanliness Staff and just plain Restrooms-(single bath rooms,,,so no one gets confused)...How's that work for ya?
[Still don't know why we call them 'bathrooms' in buildings not considered our living quarters...no one is taking a bath, at least I hope not. Let's just call them: Excrement Disposal Rooms instead!].

Also...about 'gender' pronouns...how about just saying: You or This Person, maybe even 'IT' if you pissed enough and be done with it. Sure would save a lot of trees needed for the additional listings of faux gender pronouns being invented.
