Statistically speaking, the chances an American will be killed by terrorism is vanishingly remote, but that danger has propmpted a wholesale abandonment of our civil liberties. The government would save more lives if it took 5 percent of the anti-terrorism budget and mounted a public relations campaign against obesity (I'm not advocating such a campaign), and returned the other 95 percent to taxpayers (I am advocating returning money to taxpayers).

"You’re More Likely to Be Killed By Brain-Eating Parasites,"

Wait... you're saying that terrorists are less deadly than the Democrat voter base??

And what would the odds become if we did nothing to combat the terrorists?

Just asking, to be "objective" about it.

It's time to reverse my favorite line in the Beatles song Taxman: one for you, nineteen for me. This song is normally sung from the Taxman's perspective. Some of us would consider 5% oppressive, but it would be such an improvement that I would no longer complain about it.
