Was The Charlottesville Riot A Set-Up?

Me dino was tempted but decided not to post this article when I first read it this morning. I don't like to read print that small and I could read "Firefox prevented this site from opening a pop-up window." (Psst! I also don't like to post links that ask Gulchers for money). So if you caught a pop-up, me so solly, y'all.
What changed my mind was Rush Limbaugh on my car radio a little later asking the same question and theorizing that the libs who run Charlottesville connived~not to do a Rahm Emanuel "Do not waste a good crisis"~BUT TO CREATE ONE.
Rush spoke of the police at Charlotteville standing down as well as retreating for the expressed purpose of fetching riot gear but then coming back without any.
In the article, police at the scene were definitely shackled from enforcing the same wear no mask law police effectively enforced at Auburn University a few months ago.
You had better be a kid and it better be Halloween if you want police to overlook your wearing a mask in my sweet home Alabama.
It's original intention was to successfully unmask the KKK.
Besides criminals doing crimes, it appears the those who hide behind masks these days (who aren't Muslim extremists) are the cowards of Antifa, BLM rioters and similar "useful idiot" losers that George Soros loves to fund.

Just so everyone knows: on 28 January 2017, I drove the whole length of Monument Avenue in Richmond and photographed all the monuments. So at least I have a historical record.

Just a quibble that will become HUGE if not nipped in the bud: Make no mistake, when the media says "Nazi" or "white nationalists/KKK", they mean "conservative" or "republican". If you know your history, you know that those groups in the past and such as they exist today were/are ALL left-wingers. Those instigating thugs in Charlottsville were ALL lefties and the media is in cover-up mode.

After Vietnam I got to thinking, "What if they gave a war and no one came?" The best way to protest a protest is by ignoring it. For those that can't, law enforcement should draw lines around a specific area. Inside you are on your own, outside you are protected from attack. It's sort of the way I treat Chicago, I never go there anymore.

How old is that vehicle that sped into the crowd? How do we know the NSA didn't hijack that car? I hope that it is unlikely.

It's hard to find legitimate news outlets reporting the organizer's connections to Obama and the Occupy movement along with his drastic conversion in less than a year, but it is being widely discussed across the internet right now. Rush talking about it will bring it up to the top for more visibility.

Now that would definitely cause a riot and national guard call out.
It would be more appropriate to remove the statists Lincoln and Roosevelt from Rushmore.

And the media is eager to help them all get away with it.
Spineless behavior in the GOP does not help.

There is a very good first person rundown of what happened on the Daily Caller, and it seems more like incompetence than deliberate conspiracy. While there was a perfectly good exit to the north of the park away from the Antifa thugs, none of the police there were equipped with riot gear, so the alt-right folk were herded to the south, right into the alt-left crowd that was itching for a fight. Neither group of extremists are graduates of anger management class, so the expected violence happened. Even though equipped with riot gear, the cops were afraid of what the media would make of them wading into the melee with tear gas and batons, so the decision to let the rioters run out of gas appeared to have been made.

Governor McCauliffe seems to be the idiot who triggered this, by declaring an emergency and ordering the Charlottesville police to remove the alt-right demonstrators. The police had a decent setup, and a reasonable plan for keeping the two groups separate, but the emergency order threw all that into a cocked hat.

The commie arrested for tearing down a statue the other day is a self proclaimed member of the "workers world party" - they aint a cupcake club. Trump is the flash point, but the kegs of powder were placed around the Nation by Obama. The rest of them may have come from here, its run by a guy named Swart, who used to work for Gov. moonbeam. --https://crowdsondemand.com/political-...

There is a movement to remove the iconic bas-relief of Confederate generals from Stone Mountain outside Atlanta. According to my friend in Atlanta, the Georgia governor even offered to put a bell ("let freedom ring" from MLK speech), but the NAACP isn't having it. https://www.infowars.com/naacp-wants-...

To loosely quote Lenin, "We must sacrifice the few so that the many can live in a Communist utopia."

"Why am I suddenly thinking about the Clintons?" Because the Clintons are the stars of ugly bloody messes. They have taught their followers well.

Absolutely! The left wing protesters didn't have a permit either, but they sure had clubs. The media is covering for them...what a surprise. Most people haven't heard that the Left had clubs or did anything to provoke a confrontation, which of course is exactly what they were paid to do. Guess that some protesters are more equal than others.

One could say getting anything organized however how is "setting up." Being weasel sneaky about it takes extra effort.

When you erect monuments to men, rather than to the monumental ideas they may champion, then you always run the risk that they shall become the focus of the monument.

When they do, their fortunes rise and fall with the sentiments of the mob – however such mobs may be disguised.

Mobs cloaked in naked disguise, such as the KKK and various “supremacists.” Or the more cleverly disguised mobs on the left – given, through omission and commission, the far more effective disguise of "legitimacy."

Yes, it was a set-up. The very man who brought those neo-Nazis and other collectivists of a similar persuasion together, had earlier brought together collectivists of a "non-racist" (in this case, communist) persuasion in the event we know as "Occupy Wall Street." We also have clear and convincing evidence to blame the Mayor of Charlottesville and the carpetbagger Governor of Virginia. (And I can speak to carpetbagging. I live here in Virginia, and was born here.) Ask yourselves: who benefits from this kind of embarrassment?

And while I'm on the subject, let me assure everyone here: Robert E. Lee would never have had any truck with the racists. He wasn't that kind of man, and that wasn't why he led the Army of Northern Virginia. He led it because he could not "raise [his] hand" nor "draw [his] sword against [his] own people."
