Hmmm... be careful what you wish for...

"...Being able to keep track of the transgender population could also yield other information that helps the state address non-health issues, like discrimination and financial disparities, OConnell said. While medical researchers have provided estimates of LGBT state populations for years, this type of government effort to collect comprehensive data on LGBT New Yorkers is unprecedented, he said."

it's win-win. The get the data collection, and the LGBTs get the aura of legitimacy.

One of the things the left and right have in common are some of the things they always lie about.

The two that leap to mind are:

    1. Money
    2. Sex

They both lie but the difference is the left lies about the data when they don't like the results.

So the data collected is not going to be accurate to start with and then the agenda pushers will "massage" the numbers to push their agenda.

Just like the labor department under the current administration.

Good. We need this sort of census data. Now Conservatives won't be able to fabricate false data to pretend that the LGBT community is smaller than it actually is, and we can use the information to get a clearer picture to see what problems need to be addressed within the community.

The country spent years and a lot of pain to get the government out of our bedrooms. Now they're back.

I heard about this on Rush Limbaugh today. The bias against LGBT's coming from NYC because of Obamacare - how poetically ironic is that!
